Why are you picking on me agt? First Village Voice now you. Anyway, don't you just lauuuuuuuuve the stereotypical view of a "foren return?" And how often have we been reminded the deusee and bhailo experience? Maybe the narrative should change a bit, dont you think it is time? Maybe we should give a lil twist to this experience by.. say... telling what happens if your are y oung woman and go out to play bhailo in the dark. Now, that is some thought... hmmm..
But to tell you the truth I don't know if there is some truth to what Himalayas wrote. Maybe there is. I don't know. Have not been there for a long time.

I think this is really not a right forum for kabita. I feel discouraged when people dont understand it. This does not mean that people cant be critical about others work. It would make much more sense when criticism comes from a person who understands kabita....aajali yetti

NK, thanks for your reply.
Off course there are some issues have to be taken into consideration like the one you said. May be it is not that appropriate for a person who has bad experience. You are right.

I appreciate the way you said. I think this is not a right forum for Kabita but why I posted ?
The reason :- I visited a lot of forums, I am a regualr visitor of this forum without much contribution but most of the bright, intelectual people are here which really impressed me so I thought why not post it here and get some feedback from these intelligent people which will help me to correct my mistakes.

try to get the 'real' meaning out of partial's poem in which he has expressed his love and longing for his country, yet appreciates the land that values hard work. that is what lacks in nepal and i'm sure you are no turkey to not notice it.
he hasn't forgotten his roots, so there's no need to be so sarcastic.
let's just hope that he and others like him will return one day with their gained knowledge and find pleasure in sharing it with other nepalis. after all, in his own words, 'maato oohi ho'.
