I wanna know if you recommend any sound card/software for music recording. I would like to plug guitar/turntables/synth/drum machine to the pc and record. I am computer savvy and a great music composer...Currently I am using a regular 24 bit sound blaster card, fruity loops/pc dj red/acid pro...any feedback will be greatly appreciated...

Hello, I guess you have heard of Cake Walk--- Try that-- I recorded one piece with that. We also used a mixer board for that. Its on my new cd as wel--its a guitar piece-- We did in a track system. If you wanna listen to the quality then please let me know.

Thanks for the feedback.....yes, Indeed I have heard of Cake Walk but never bothered to learn more about it....I've always thought cake walk was somehow related to analog mixer, period. What else can it do, I would love to hear a demo. Thanks again

I would definetly recommend cakewalk software for home recording music. it is awesome software, easy to use and no problem at all. I have been using this software for a while, and i personally think it is best.
