It is shocking to see so many Nepalese ( and people from all over the world) being indirectly cheated by these private DV agencies who charge $ 35-$ 120 per person to
fill out people's "DV application". They even have a link on their website for people to check the status of their lottery!! Here's one of those agencies where you can see hundreds of nepalese( and thousands of others, even people from the countries which are not qualified for DV) who are anticipating their win in DV-2003 without knowing that the "DV office" in usa does NOT provide a list of DV winners ( to anyone).

What a smart way of making money ! and what a foolish way of being cheated when EVERY information regarding DV lottery are officially put on the web by the INS and department of state in the following websites:( these are only some of them)

www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/howdoi/divlott.htm

Agree. If applicants would only read the information provided by the INS visa bulletin they would know that there is no form or money necessary to file. Anyone eligible can make the application. If the information is provided in the order requested the application is good. It NOT necessary to have a lawyer. It is foolish to retain a lawyer. Retaining a lawyer may actually harm your chances of being selected. The application is absolutely FREE for everyone eligible. You cannot improve your chances of being selected anyway except to provide the biodata in the proper format.
