Girija ploted to kill Mr. Deuba in this week, but Girija's party is unsuccessful to kill Mr. Deuba....... Nepali congress official civil war has been began. Girija announced war against Deuba. Girija ordered to kill Deuba, but Deuba is getting stronger from royal place backup........ next will be from Deuba and Gyanendra, Paras. ( United Axsis)

BBC current bomb blast report:

note: Watch next strike who will do?
arnico Posted on 05-Jul-02 11:06 AM

There is no evidence yet regarding who is responsible.
Your first two lines are purely your own speculation, and NOT the contents of the BBC article to which you provide the link. It would have been good to make that clearer.
Wild animal Posted on 05-Jul-02 11:38 AM

This is wild wild south asia country nepal. It is very very bad example of nepal democracy.

I think next strike will be from Royal Place. " Royal Masacare" will not be Free. This is a cycle of royal politics and culture in Nepal.

Do you think Girija and his party will handle the next strike?
Himalayas Posted on 05-Jul-02 11:40 AM

Nepal's ruling party has blamed Maoist rebels for a bomb attack on offices used by supporters of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The Battle Royale begins:
Now Deuba and King will be on one side,
Girija + Maobadis + India will on the other side.

I think the bomb in baneshwor is the first salvo in the new power equation!
Choose your sides now, who will win this world cup?

To defame Koirala was the sole purpose of Kantipur's Nepal. The magazine is going to close down soon because now it has nothing to do.
taha cha Posted on 06-Jul-02 09:25 AM

You got it all wrong brother, I do not know a single person that likes or trusts Girija, you are the first one.
popular Posted on 06-Jul-02 09:39 AM

Tarun Dal President sides with Deuba
In one more move, which distanced the two Congress lobbies even further, Bal Krishna Khand President of Nepal Tarun Dal (NTD), a youth wing of the Nepali Congress party decided to support Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba thereby giving legitimacy to the ‘controversial’ party Convention called by the Deuba lobby.
Mike Sharma Posted on 06-Jul-02 11:03 AM

Most of the Nepali Congress sister organizations have sided with Girija e.g. the Nepal Trade Union Congress, the Nepal Women's Organization, The Nepal Student Union or the NEBISANGH etc. Bal Bahadur Khand was a Deuba supporter form the beginning. Nepalnews and Kantipuronline have always been anti-Girija- no wonder they have highlighted Khand's siding with Deuba. Let's face it- Girija is the real Congress. Even Krishna Prasad Bhattarai had to concede that fact.

CPN-UML condemns bomb attack of Deuba office

The CPN-UML Saturday condemned a powerful bomb attack on the headquarters of Nepali Congress Party (Deuba) Friday injuring10 student acativists, the party said. The Nepali Congress Party (Koirala) has not reacted so far.

The U.S. Embassy swiftly condemned the attack within four hours of the blast. Deuba Congress blamed Maoists for the bombing. nepalnews.com br July 6

>Most of the Nepali Congress sister organizations have sided with Girija e.g. the Nepal Trade Union Congress,

nepal trade Unoin congress is pocket organization of koirala family, laxman basnet is daughter in law of koirala family

>the Nepal Women's Organization, The Nepal Student Union or the NEBISANGH etc.

44 district president of NSU already supported deuba. NSU president biswo prakash sharma and some of other central members were elected under direct pressure of girija goot, let's see there will be spilt in NSU very soon. Deuba supporters are not few there.

>Bal Bahadur Khand was a Deuba supporter form the beginning.

Bal Krishna Khand has been always a staunch supporter of girija in these days.It is strong blow for girija to change camp by him.

>Nepalnews and Kantipuronline have always been anti-Girija- no wonder they have highlighted Khand's siding with Deuba. Let's face it- Girija is the real Congress. Even Krishna Prasad Bhattarai had to concede that fact.

Although girija is saying that just bunch of persons are living nepali congress like tulsi giri and biswobandhu thapa but why he is travelling from biratnagar to pokhara, nepalganj to
birganj. He has already accepted that it is the most critical time for nepali congress in its history and may be also for girija himself.
Mike Sharma Posted on 07-Jul-02 02:31 AM

I'm sick and tired of hearing about this son-in-law daughter-in law of the Koirala family business. When Prakash Koirala (MP) opposes his uncle Girija, the Deuba newspapers say BP's son opposes Girija. But when he takes the side of Girija on the case's merit, the same newspapers say Girija's nephew sides with him. Same with Shailaja, She has opposed Girija on many issues. Then she is senoir leader of the Nepali Congress. When she supports him, she suddenly becomes Girija's neice!!
taha cha Posted on 17-Jul-02 08:29 AM

Opposing Girija on certain issues does not make koiralas anti-girija. Koiralas know very well that their wild card is Girija. They might disagree on some issues but the relationship of benefiting from each other is not going to change.

Neharu's family ruled India for a long time; I see the similar influence of koirala family in the politics of Nepal. I do not like it a bit but I can see that happening.

Latest news, Girija is willing to step down! May be I am not the only one that opposed Girija. But he will certainly take as many people down as he can possibly take down with him. It is the way I know Girija.

Thank you for telling me that I do not have friends. It is good to know what I did not know. I had always thought I was a popular guy. I did not know that no one was my friend. Thank-you for telling me that the people that I associate with are not my friends. May be you are right?? May be I am trying to find friends on the net?
Nonsense Posted on 17-Jul-02 01:01 PM

Giirja tried to kill Deuba and Deuba retalited by trying to kill Girija by not letting his plane land in the hope it would run out of fuel and crash? My goodness we have no dearth of conspiracy theorists on this forum. I think this is poltiics as usual - for all we know it could have been the Moaists planting the bomb to defame Koirala and dont be suprised if another bomb goes off in some Koirala office and I bet you his supporters will say it was Deuba.

Yawn ... this Congress politics is getting a little too boring.
Bhenda Posted on 17-Jul-02 01:43 PM

Whatever, I hate Girija and will be very happy when his sukeko body goes on a hariyo bans ko yatra. Death to Chor Girija.

To popular,

A named “popular” match very much with your expression and I hope that your name fit with your personality, behavior, ability, and activities.

Personality: Are you very proudly? Do you think that you are tall and beautiful? Like you can control any man in earth? Or you are just another little punk from KTM.

Behavior: Did you respect elder ness? Did you believe in god? Or you are freaks.

Ability: Did you learn enough to live? Do you know everything? Do you respect and accept the truth as like an educated girl? Or you are just another stupid living creature from low life.
