Recently, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, also the Financial Minister, presented the nation's budget for the facial year 2003/2004. Well, it has been 51 years since the Rana regime ended, and also 51 years since the first budget was presented by the (then) Finance Minister Suwarna Shamsher (sorry for the spelling).

Well, it seems that among the 51 budgets presented within these years, only 20 to 30 percent of the budget has been used. So where did all the rest of the budgets go? This is still a mystrey, yet to be solved! If I was a researcher in nature, rather than proposing a theory of a hypothesis, I would say:
"This is way of the nature" (actually : "this is the way of the Nepalese Government!")

Next question is for $infinite!!!
Where did 70% ofl the budget go?
a. ??? b.??? c.??? d.???

you have 1 lifeline and thats "call a neta"! Whom will u call?

Officials not cooperating: Property Investigation Commission
KOL Report

KATHMANDU, July 11 – The high level commission investigating the properties of government officials and ministers both retired and incumbent, has accused them of not complying with the commission’s demands.

A statement issued by the commission Thursday said it was taking exceptions to incidents where serving and retired ministers and officials had refused to comply with its demands to hand in details of their property and income along with it sources to the commission.

The commission warned officials and ministers that it would take stern action if they continue to ignore the request and asked them to do so immediately.

The statement further said that many of the ministers and officials had refused to accept the disclosure forms when they were approached by the commissions. It said many of the former ministers and lawmakers from “responsible” parties had refused to accept the forms also.

The statement did not disclose names but said it included former ministers, state ministers, assistant ministers, incumbent and former members of parliament, local government representatives, government and semi-government bank officials.

Who are they who had refused to comply with its demands to hand in details of their property and income along with it sources to the commission.

Why not disclose their names in the pubilc?
