Hi all,

Early this year, I had a lot of fun -- in my spare time -- helping my friend Rabindra
Puri put together an art exhibition in Bhaktapur.

The art exhibition featured works (made up of wood and stone) by

1. Indra Kaji Silpakar of Bhaktapur
2. Radhe Shyam Silpakar of Bhaktapur
3. Surja Bajracharya of Patan (Surja is the first and well-recognised
female stone-carver of Nepal)

and

4. Rabindra Puri of Bhakatpur

and was a great success.

Now, Rabindra is leading his team of artists on a trip to Germany this summer.

So, NK and other sajha dot comers in and with ties to Germany, be sure to forward
this to your friends there, and be sure to visit the art exhibition
and the artists there.

Sure Ashu, Will do my part.

Now if you excuse me I have to go and compose one of those rhyming-oh-how-I-love-my-mother-land-poetry. No no actually I think this time I will write something as obvious as chair that has fours legs and people like to sit on it kind of poem. And in my poem I will be lecturing too. There will be some "sandesh". Poetry without a sandesh is not poetry, no? And of course it will be a "chanda mileko" poem. Hope you will like it. :) And Ashu, in one of the threads you had said something about Nepali poetry and your discussion about it. Could you post some here? Is it possible?
