Biswoji,
Few weeks ago, I remembered you talking about kustha rogi and I thought it will be of interest to you. It is very sad, the PADT is fanatically removing people out of the places. I think it is good idea to clean the Pashupati Area but to evict the very people which the religous institution supposed to help and take care of is very depressing. I do hope they find a shelter. I wonder if there is anything we can help besides voicing our opinions

LKji,

Thanks for forwarding the news.

It is in deed very sad, because our temples have been sanctuary for poor and
helpless people since centuries. In fact, temples are in need of cleansing of venal
and greedy pundits more than cleansing of helpless lazaruses.

What do you think we can do? You still have contact with Nepal Kustharog Nibaran
Sangh? Do you have any idea? (I am going out rightnow, but will be back by evening.
I thought this topic to be very important, so couldn't stop replying. May be I can
come up with some idea by evening:-) )

Do you think ANA has some philanthropic wing? I think it is sad that ANA executive
comittee is less well known that GBNC. GBNC is transparent, we know what is going
on, people can shout at GBNC guys right here and like in a parliament, they come
here and clarify their position. ANA, it seems, is like a typical beaurocratic
organization. Hey guys, I may be wrong, and please correct me if I am.

Yea, what I was saying is, better we have some philanthropic body (umbrella
body, I guess). Btw, what about HEN? Rabindra Mishraji, are you guys doing
anything about these people? If you plan something, we will chip in whatever
we can. Rabindraji is a person of integrity, and he is very likely to have access
to coordinating agencies in Nepal who can help them.

Just wanted to put this in the front, in case someone is willing to provide some
information about this issue.

I have tried to find the Ashram People directly. I don't want to go through Kustha Rog Nirvaran Ayog. I wanted to know if there is anything I could do help them. But so far, I have not found anything. If any of you has any info, please forward to me.
