you can make your voices heard by logging into nepalnews and entering the poll section where you can vote for or against this worthless trend of declaring national holidays in Nepal on the departure/arrival of the royal couple.
hopefully, it will come to an end soon.

i think you are missing austin powers-ji's point. he does not say that the pollsters are joking, per se. he is saying that he thinks that the polls themselves are a joke because he thinks that they do not impact hmg policy and are, therefore, a waste of time (aka, "a joke") in his opinion.
my thoughts? *they* don't take down the discussion forum from the poll section, and throw up a message in its place (for more than a year?) claiming that the forum is down so *they* can fix a "software" glitch, do they? also, funny how whenever i posted something there with the word "regulation" in it, it was censored, because letters 3-6 in that word spell a bad slang word in nepal. what a joke! ;)

what's the big issue in posting a single vote if you feel it should count?
if you don't, then you don't, if you do, it'll count. that's it. pure and simple.
anyway, shagadelic, you could express your indignation/support in these forums too, which few ppl have done (in a different thread). i'm sure you found/will find the postings in that thread as well, hilarious.
