Ladies and Gentlemen!

DANIDA/GTZ Revenue Administration Support will host a high level training on
software project management and software system analysis and design in
September/October 2002. The training is targeted at software developers with
some experience who want to upgrade their management and analytical skills.

The training is conducted jointly by Mr David Brown from the UK and myself.

Contents:

A) Capability Maturity Management (CMM)
Date and duration: 24 September, half day introduction
CMM is a quality framework specifically for the software industry. It

development contracts, especially in off-shore development.

B) Projects IN Controlled Environments (PRINCE)
Date and duration: 25-27 September, 3 days

PRINCE project management method has been developed in the UK and is widely
used in the anglo-saxon world, especially in IT related projects.

C) Structured System Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM)
Date and duration: 30 September - 04 October, 5 days
SSADM has also been developed in the Uk and is widely used. It covers the
whole software development life cycle from feasability study to physical design.

It is compulsory in most UK government related projects. SSADM tightly integrates
with PRINCE.
