Man arrested for attempting poisoning
A restauranteur was arrested Tuesday in the capital for attempting to kill 10 persons, including five policemen, by lacing their lentils with poison, police said.
Police are preparing charges against suspect Hari Bhurtel now in custody at Hanumak Dhoka. The 10 have returned home after preliminary treatment for food poisoning.
Bhurtel has confessed mixing poison in the lentils to attract customers to his eatery by slurring the image of his uncle's restaurant where the 10 had a meal and fell sick, police said.

For a moment, I was stunned to read this headline that my dear fictional friend, Dilli Kumar Bhurtel "Shahrukh", Esq., was arrested. I don't know what Sanu Gaunthali would have said upon hearing the news, but it definitely would have been either of the two extremes:
1. A-ha, Khuchhing!!
or
2. This arrest on completely false charges is a gross violation of an innocent working man's right to lead a free and secure life of honor and dignity in a nascent democracy. The harrassment in recent days by Sher Bahadur Deuba's maatiyeka Police has reached unbearable proportions. I demand a judicial enquiry into the incident at the highest level, possibly chaired by a retired chief justice. Since Bhurtel is MY husband, all sex-deprived feminists should also issue public statements condemning this act of aggression on the part of a state that is having too much fun under the pretext of Emergency. I want my handsome man delivered back to me immediately, without his moustache trimmed...SG.

I just don't understand, how on earth would anybody poison the food they serve to attract more people, I thought that would discourage people to eat in that restaurant. What the heck, I will think about it later, maybe its too early in the morning for me to understand.

Oops, never realised Bhurtel has been such an sajha.com icon that I thought
about nothing but 'that' bhurtel. And I thought this was the sequel by Paschim.
Isn't it a time for a sequel?

"I thought that would discourage people to eat in that restaurant." This is exactly what Dilli..oops Hari Bhurtel wanted. Here "that" restaurant belonged to his uncle. Our Bhurtel bro wanted his uncle's customers to move to his restaurants.
Now, Bhurtel bro is busted! I hope this Bhurtel bro won't run a catering service later.

Biswo - I stopped at Episode 10 leaving wide room for many more sequels to follow...tara mood chahine rahechha humor lekhna lai...some sort of jocular alacrity...but if i start writing this time, i'll do 5 episodes in one go, not do one at a time...do stay tuned for more bhurtel-gaunthali tales...bhurtel is a sajha creation, no doubt. if there was no sajha, there would have been no bhurtel!
