Sunil Upreti did very well. He sand only 1 song "SAGAR JHAI GAHIRO" it was an old song but it was great. He still has a pop star in him. I got to talk to him back stage and he was so nice and sweet. He was also being very supportive.

Rekha, Are you sure you talking about that same guy? I thought Kancho was asking about the Sunil PARAJULI's program in Cambridge. Sunil dai (Parajuli) would rather talk about Aakas than Sagar. " Aakasama chila udyo dharatima chhaya..." Vs "Sagar jhai Gahiro...".

Elvis Presley ra Elvis Costello eutai haina ni! I am talking of Sunil Parajuli. His song "Akashai maa cheel udyo" was an anthem song for us back in late eighties. And his "Aau" album is excellent too. Sunil Uprety, on the other hand, has sung only one decent song (IMHO). "Duniya doshi nasamjha malai....."

He also steals music from others and does not give credit to them. THat Akasai ma is a ditto copy of a brazillian song if you don't believe go ask him. Yeah he wrote the lyrics but not the music...he stole the music.

Sunil Parajuli's program had gained some attention but the advertisement was not clear. Lot of people ended up in Cambridge thinking that it was a concert. But unfortunately it wasn't. It was just a discussion session with him. I felt like going to school with all the handouts in my hands. Had to force ourselves of thinking of taking a class in the Harvard@Lol..It was funny when we discovered that it was not a concert. But the ending was not too bad though, as he sang a few songs for his audiences. But the complaint is that, they failed to clearly mention what it was all about!!! -Hahaha
