A song has been buzzing in my mind for quite sometime now. It is an old nepalese song but I dont know the artist not even the lyrics correctly just the rhythm. I think it goes like 'sirima siri ni kanchii....da da da...nirmaya'. Any ideas who may have sung this song? Nothing serious though. :)

I think it is from Narayan Gopal, The rhythm goes like this: Sirima siri ni kancha batasai chalyo babari phoolko basana, sun mero nirmaya mayaloo ayo ni kancha phaal haldai nabole pani hasana http://www.nepalisong.net/narayangopal2/sirimasirhekanchha.ram

Gyanu Rana and Narayan Gopal. The song was collected by Dharma Raj Thapa, If I remember correctly.

'Siri ma siri ni kanchha batasi chlyo Babari phul.ko basana suna meri nirmaya' If you are talking about the above song, that is of Narayan Gopal and Gyanu Rana, collection of Dharma Raj Thapa. Dharma Raj Thapa himself sang that song, different lyrics, but same tune...

Mitra 2, "....Fagun maasma ni kanchhi phoolko baasma chaldo.chha timrai dhoon...sun mero nirmaya..." I had never heard this song by Dharmaraj Thapa (at least I don't remember) before. Nice!
