1974AD (with Deep Shrestha) is the first Nepali band to attempt a musical tour of the USA. Following their "rocking" debut concert at the ANA Convention in DC, 1974AD and Shrestha are embarking on a 10 city tour of the USA which will culminate in the NASeA Convention in Atlanta on Labor Day. Last night they performed in San Francisco to a packed house of fans and Nepali music lovers. This thread has been started as a way for fans and music lovers everywhere to keep a log of the various concerts that 1974AD and Shrestha will perform at during this historic tour. Fans of these two great musical acts 1974AD and Deep Shrestha here in North America, Nepal and in the rest of the world can keep abreast of what this troupe hs been up to as they traverse this vast continent on a pioneering musical odessy.
So folks, if you happen to see them in your particular city, put out the word to the rest of us! Crowd?, Sound?, Highlights? Complaints/suggestions (if any), and your favourite tunes etc. etc...

I would highly recommend to attend their show.
Though I would have preferred more combination of Nepalese melody (more flute, madal, etc.) especially putting a blend of Nepalesefolks songs. Also, they should have more of Deepji's song. They could easily accomodate 5/7 songs in the beginning and 5/7 songs after the interval and still keep the rythm of the concert in high node.
But, overall I would give them cool A grade.

Most importantly the members of the band are young and very down to the earth personable people. Very energetic, lively and happy people.
