Hi there! I just wanted to know if there are any Nepali students studying medicine in Australia, U.K, USA or Canada. I am studying medicine in New Zealand and just wanted correspondence with Nepali medical students overseas, to compare the studies and university life as a medical student in different countries. Or else if you know anyone who is, please inform them of this posting. Thanks.

There is one gal doing clinical at Green College;Oxford University; one is at Birmingham University. Few in University of leeds and few at Imperial college; university of London. There might be other Nepalese in other uni's in the UK but haven't come across them. This is a brief information regarding medical students from the UK. Lecture hours every week up to 25 hours rest all self study. University life: Lectures, lab, clubbing, pubbing, sports mostly weekends, & studying hard whenever there is free time. A University student from the United Kingdom.

Hello! Big thanks to everyone who has replied to this thread. I am still keen to know other Nepali students studying medicine overseas, therefore I am replying again to this thread to keep it "alive" and make sure that it doesn't disappear with the new threads. If any one else knows other students doing medicine please let them know. And if you would like to have some form of correspondence with me please let me know as well. Thanks heaps.

Thanks for your posting Mr/Ms/Mrs/Miss fmori. Yeah it would be really interesting to know about the studies in general, in terms of workload for example, and the social lives and extracurricular activities of med students there. Are there other Nepalese students in your university/ yr? How far are you in your degree? Thanks, SS
