Hi Biswo, Again, your detailed defense of Adwiti is admirable. I enjoyed going through the list of her recommenders, though -- being ignorant, and therefore it's my fault, really -- I did NOT recognize any of the recommenders as a poet of stature. But that's a small matter, really. More to the point, your list of Adwiti's press clippings and recommenders gives me hope, as it should, that we will be seeing more of Adwiti's poetry in coming days, weeks and months, if not here then elsewhere. And that's good. Meantime, given all this halla-gulla here, I have taken the liberty to forward Adwiti's "eyes and eyes" poem to a poetry editor (an old college friend of mine) at a magazine in New York City. NOT being a poet and NOT being a poet-wannabe, this is strictly to satisfy my own growing curiosity as to how a poetry professional/editor evaluates poetry in the first place, and learn from the experience. Needless to say, I will NOT be making any of that friend's comments, if any, public. This is my decision too. It's good that "eyes and eyes" is in public domain for any of us to comment on -- both privately and publicly. With that, Biswo and others, I hereby end this poetry.com saga. Thank you all for your participation in these most interesting discussions. oohi ashu
