Dear sports enthusiasts:
The King Birendra Memorial Championship fifth annual Nepali Basketball Tournament is about to commence. Building on the years past's success the 2002 tournament posits to be another grand sports event.
We have eight teams participating this year. They are

Bijuli (Neeraj Shrestha, neeraj.shrestha@aristotle.com)
Chandi Khola ( Anil Shrestha, presto80@hotmail.com)
Chahari (Monish Karki, pravajan@yahoo.com)
Fighting Gurkhas (Raj Thakuri. Rctti5@yahoo.com)
Gaithursburg Goats (Prakash Prajapati, onebadv6@hotmail.com)
Hustlers (Kanchan Basnyat, kanchanbasnyat@hotmail.com)
Kali Gandaki (Mohan Thapa, mlsnepal@hotmail.com)
Each team has three core players, rest will be chosen by draft lottery. Please submit your name and contact information if you want to participate in the tournament to dcathletic@yahoo.com. Your name will be placed on draft and will be selected by the above teams.
Schedule and the details of the King Birendra Memorial Championship will be announced next week.
