Dear Niroula Dai, Please accept our warm late Summer Greetings and Namaste from Dallas, Texas. It is needless to say that ANA 2002 was a huge success. Indeed, it was the best convention ever organized by ANA (I have been a regular ANA attendee for the last five years). Our Salute goes to those who really put their time and effort together to make it as a memorable one. Their hard work paid off at the end. What we have observed and learnt from it is; it was truly a good example of teamwork especially in sports. It was awesome! (I simply don't have words to express it?). Not only that, one very good friend of mine who unfortunately broke his leg during soccer match between Kansas and Minnesota; was taken to hospital promptly and they really took a very good care of him. Personally,I would like to thank Mr. Abesh Ghale, Mr. Pramod Lama, Mr. Jayjeev hada, Mr. Niraj shrestha, Pravin Rana dai and rest of all DC well wishers who contributed what they could to help out our near and dear friend, Mr. Rimal. Let’s pray to God for his quick recovery, a good health and spirit. On the other hand, one should not forget two great personalities in DC community - Mr. Anup Pahari Dai and Mr. Simon Dhungana for their great leadership. One would not have imagined the success behind ANA 2002, without their great "VISION" and "WILL" to make things happen. My hats off to these two outstanding individuals too. Keep up the good work and make your community a place to live in, Gentlemen! Well! I have briefly spoken with Shyam karki dai and Sumanji regarding this matter- I mean hosting 2004 ANA convention in Lone Star State - Texas; Dallas, A heart of Texas where you could go for sight seeing and meet lots of warm hearted people too but contrary to this; Remember there is a saying, "Don't mess with Texas". Please BECAREFUL what you say and do to Texans. - Just kidding! Lately, we have been talking to lots of people in our community and in reply, we do get very positive responses from them. Taking this into consideration, we have been thinking very serious about hosting ANA 2004 in our soil - A Lone Star State Texas. Before we plunge into making such a commitment, we want to make sure we meet all the basic requirements for hosting a convention here in Dallas. To make this e-mail short, let me take this opportunity to ask you, "what are those requirements?” Please let us know and then we can pull our socks up and also put our thinking caps on to decide,"Go or No Go" in hosting ANA convention in 2004. If we ever decide to host it then we really want to leave a note to everyone who would attend it, "WOW! What a great Convention, it was! Never seen and done it before". Good luck Dallas! Last but not least, Thank you all for being such an outstanding citizens for your community here in US and also for Nepal. Have a nice weekend too. A well wisher, (:->) Dallas, Texas Thought of the day: "When everyone is moving forward together, success will take care of itself."

Hey This place has become a paradise for those who like to be annonimous. Do you need to be nameless to make such a pledge for ANA convention? You must be kidding, right? 2 ndly, why do you need to make this public to ask the criterias to hold a conferernce? that too in the this board? Is this any publicity stunt in a Texan way? on behalf of, Sweety

Looks like the well wisher has pulled one more stunt of not doing his home work well. Is this another texan stunt??? tsk..tsk..... Shouldn't it be Prabhat Lama instead of Promod Lama????? He is known as Prabhat Lama out here in D.C.

How come everytime someone pays someone a compliment, it becomes a kiss ass. When did we become so cynical that we can't even say good job! JB

ANAians ANA is an organization that should represent Nepalis in America, unfortuntately, it does not have its own website. Shame on ANA executives. Their website is now dead: expired. Don't illustrate these executives as if Gods. GeoGods

The ANA website was dead during and after the ANA convention. Now it seems revived again. In the accounting section, the following expenditure surprises me: >> Pundit Ji pay & travel allowance to Nepal US$ 3500.00 Who is this PUNDIT JI, and why s/he deserves US$ 3500. as travel allowance? GeoGods
