Baneshwor includes: Purano Baneshwor...uptill Conference Hall area: Pipal ko Bot , baneshwor Heights, Battisputali, Katyan Than, Bhimsengola, Ratna Rajya school area, Ganeshthan, etc etc...

Baneshwor! wow! I never lived there, but over the years how it transformed from a small outpost in the valley to the most crowded and busy residential areas. I hated driving there. hated the small narrow roads the potholes and gulleys. Yet the throngs of people, the masses! I have to admit, there is somethign about Baneshwor!

Hajoor Ko Pasal in near Ratna Rajya School. Coming from Purano Baneshwor, you pass Ratna Rajya School, then you climb the ukalo and then there is a big chaur. It is right after the chaur on the left side.

I used to hang out in Min Bhawan college. If that makes me a temp residenct of Baneshwor. pls do count me in for the reunion.

My dear Neonsigns,
I guess you have been away from Baneswor far too long. That chaur you mention is no more. Hajur ko Pasal also has taken a new appearance. I remember a time when it was just small hut with tin roof selling 10 paise sweets.
Hajur ko Pasal dekhi Naya Baneswor chowk samma is a happening place right now. It is so much fun to see the different shops and meet variety of people. I wish they could do something about the dust though, that part of the "avenue" is dusty beyond belief.
I myself am from Mahadevsthan. You get there when you walk west about 10 or 15 minutes from Ratna Rajya School.

Anyone from Baneswor in DC area?
I am from near "Laxmi ko Chiya pasal" in front of Military "Byarek" and behiend Sheraton in Naya Baneswor. I know about four people from Baneswor in DC. Just checking see if we have more....
