1. The Maoists are pretty reckless these days. They are killing police in large number, and staging 'Nepal Bandh' with facility. If they are killing police with such ease, then why blame innocent simple Nepalese citizens for closing the door when they say 'off'? 2. Anyway, we don't have government now. We don't even have a parliament now. The state is just crippled. Things are just not well. It is surprising that tourists are still going there, and the tourism ministry statistics says they are going in larger flocks! Surprising. 3. They say Ramesh Nath met Babu Ram. What surprised me is they made it public. I think probably Babu Ram don't want to deal furtively with king, and if this is true, then I think it is very commendable that the underground party believes in transparency. After all, king is holding the secret weapon (army) to save the democracy, and he is the person Maoists are to talk to make their position clear. 4. I don't want to forgive the Maoists and their dastardly deeds. Yet, I know that the main reason for our dysfunctioning of our systems is the prevalent corruption and dishonesty in every sector.See some good reasons: a. People go to Maoists court.and we all know why they go there. b. It is not only Maoists ,but we also know that our parliament is not functioning, and is probably just a hoax. c. The government has been made/broke several times by using the money of embezzlers and smugglers, so we have lost our faith on our governments. d. The police force did operate in nepotism/cronyims/corruption. almost all the police sent to 'durgam' areas are from the families which don't have access to the powerful family. What will be the morale of such force? e. When Maoist movement just started to flare up, police used extra judicial means to convict the suspected Maoists. They terrorized villagers, they also reportedly raped girls. We have to blame ourselves when we think why we are losing to these insurgents.Let's hope that whatever happens, people's right to speak up their mind and cast vote for choosing their representatives will remain sacrosanct, and so will the national pride of all Nepalese.
