I just read this in http://www.geocities.com/paketmaar but today's one is more funny! It has been more than a decade and we are still trying to figure out this 'democracy' formula. Democracy takes time but if the 'Nepalese' style of democracy is only about multi-party system and their own nataks then we know very well that 'our' kind of democracy has failed miserably. Instead of creating a stable environment, our politicians have fought like dogs and cats for the right to the 'golden' koorchi! The only thing they have agreed on is... how to suck our blood and build million dollar homes while our future grows darker every day. And the people who died during the 'Andolan' days are probably in heaven, wondering if their death really made any difference. Baburam is no joker. We know all about this 'Board First' days, his 'great education' days in India and his urban planning office in KTM. Then, he was elected and he got sick of it. Many folks who want to do something for our country do get the 'sick' feeling when they realize that most of the so-called great leaders will sell their own mothers if they get the opportunity to make some money. The Maoists started off with 'let's do something' idea but as they moved ahead, things started getting blurry. No, it was not the MOti-Bindu thing. THey needed money to pay their own 'so-called' fighters. They robbed banks, killed low-level chamchas and as they got bigger, they did the 'Mumbai Bhai Business', extorting money from big businesses and even from working-class families. Now, our own great leaders pay them and often visit them in India while our innocent folks are being killed everyday. I don't want to hide my support for the Maoists. But it was back then ...six years ago... When they first started out, if they had stuck to their vision and had gone on a 'hit where it hurts' mission, like hitting Manisha's fat ass with a lola or throwing Paan at Kishunji or injecting Girija with a 'Rabies'.. then who knows... Maoists would have all done us a great favor but no, these m#$%f@#% decided to hit on Army barracks, blow up bridges and destroying the basic infrastructure, making lives of poor farmers more difficult. The job of the army is to protect the nation from foreign invasion. They have nothing to do with the way our country is being screwed. The RNA didn't wake up one day and decided to take on the Maoists. The RNA still feels that they should not be involved in domestic daang-doongs but who is responsible for RNA being mobilized to take on the Maobadis? It's the stupid Maobadis themselves and our netas who have given them the reason to start all this natak. Well, I don't want to call them stupid because most of them are young folks like us, but who are either manipulated or forced to join their so-called stupid fight for 'nothing' natak. The people who live in the villages aren't the reason for Netas in KTM getting fatter. The Maoists are trying to follow the 'Castro' formula. They may compare their natak with what Castro did in 1953 but I think they should also remember why and how Ernesto Che Guevara was killed in Bolivia. The Maoists started with some 'support' from the people and they know very well that the people are no longer in favor of their 'cruel' intentions. They should change it from 'People ko War' to 'Make some money War' because we are the people and I (we) don't see any benefit from the Maobadiz nataks... or do we? We are now forced to side with 'corrupt political leaders' and it's not that we support them. It's because we are threatened by these 'Taliban like fanatics' and if we do follow the 'Joon Jogi Ayae pani Kaan Chireko' mantra then we are pretty sure that tomorrow, even if Baburam and Prachanda do get to the top 'Koorchi'... nothing much will change. They will repeat the same stuff that our netas have been doing for the last 12 years. The Maoists leaders could have started their own development projects in the regions which was under their 'so-called' rule. How can we now trust these Maoists leaders even if they join our great netaz in this 'multi-party sharing the loot' system. If these people have the desire to kill innocent folks then just think what they are capable of doing... when they come to power. We all know who we are. We are Nepalese, so many ethnic groups and no such unity. Be it here in AMrika, UK or HK or Nepal... we have clearly seen that we have so many differences and instead of finding a common ground, we are still busy with our own racist behavior towards each other. WHat's in a jaat? The Maoists think that taking the MOnarchy out of the picture will solve Nepal's problems. Koirala feels the heat and thinks that Monarchy is trying to strangle the 'so-called' democracy thing. I may not be as smart as them but I don't think the reason why our country is more screwed up now is because of the people in the palace. Our politicians are to be blamed and so are the Maoists. Until we all work together to protect our families and our country against these foreign forces (our netas and Maoists!)... Nepal will never be free.
