It's the birth of our future king... cool down men/women.... If monarchy continues... he is the king after 40 years..... (Hope Paras lives that long) after Gyanendra...

Just a thought, King Gyanendra was declared king (for a short while) when he was a child. If Prince Paras was to become a King, I would rather want to see the throne on the new born kid's head. Whaddaya think?

I am delighted for the royal family on the birth of their son. If people want to show their happiness by lighting candles and doing puja and going to the palace, then I am all for it. But having a Nepal bandha just because our king went somewhere or because of any reason is unwarranted. As it is, Nepal is poor because of the lack of working environments etc. Furthermore, if the whole of Nepal is closed for work then what will be the future, It can only be gloomy. In USA, I have seen even nepalis going to work at 7 am in the morning and returning at 9 pm in the night. They sometimes have to go for meetings on saturdays. If holidays are announced untimely, then even children suffer. since nothing is planned, children and the whole family will spend the day watching tv, video etc. Not many people go to meet their relatives nowadays. This makes a perfect environment for further degradation of the education system in Nepal. ..................

Also, I want the Royal family to go to places. Infact visit other countries. Solve problems. Talk with the Bhutanese Jigme. Meet Bajpye, mussaraf,Jiang Zemin, Bush. But because he goes places shouldn't mean that all Nepalis have no work to do! WOrk of the whole nation should not be sacrificed. THIS IS MY POINT!
