Do these Bhutanese Refugee are innocent and good Nepalese poeple?

Some people said that they are political criminal, some said they are 100% Nepalese, and some said that they are good Neplese people.

I am just confious. What is your opinion?

Can hundred thousand people of a particular race living in a country be classified as criminals? There is no such thing as "political criminal".

I don't know whether they are good people. What I do know is that they are immigrants in the early nineteen hundreds, when southern Bhutan was a Jungle, just like southern nepal at that time. Dukpas were people living in the north (still most of them do.). They rearly ventured into what is called souther Bhutan.

Thus ethnic Nepalese came to call that place their own. With the advent of modernization, people seek change. Most Nepalese were educated people. They held high ranks in government offices due to their merit. However Dukpas unable to see this rise of different race ploted to throw them out.

They have indeed been successful. Their tactic have worked in the face of incompetent Nepali gov. in nepal who cannot protect even its own citizens in foreign countries (then talking about how Nepaliethnic communities fare is a far off cry).

What Nepal should do!
1. Make the issue international.
2. Lay out economic and cultural sanctions. "Druk" brand of jam is manifactured in Bhutan.
3. Close Bhutanese embassy in nepal.
4. Overthrow the bhutanese King, if he refuses to take back the refuges from Bhutan.
5. grant economic and cultural support to ethnic nepalese after they are taken back in Bhutan.

Some interesting fact that Bhutan can't leave even though they get rid of Nepali (particularly, Bauan and Chettry orign): For instance; Nepali food; just like dal bhat, Nepali music and song; all Nepali festivals, as well as language, Nepali movie. Give you a fact, In Nepal we don't care that much about Nepali movie, but in Bhutan, when new Nepali movie releases, they leave everything behind and even pay extra money in black market just to watch that movie. And lot other that Bhutanis people like about Nepali and our culture also they believe in. In fact, Bhutan is culturally dominated by all Nepali culture and tradition. Bhutanis people are as good as us and love Nepali and Nepali culture. By all this, Bhutani Govenment feared that Nepali will dominate all the political as well as all the norms and values of the society. So, he (king) started abusing and creating quagmire situation to all Nepalis.
However, some interesting facts is that India controls its all territory not only physically, also by militarily. Whatever Indian government says, that happens in Bhutan. Therefore, all this situation cannot solely blame to Bhutan's king, India is playing double standard with us. Sometimes, there is a blink of fear that Bhutan will (may) be next Sikkim.

akash,

I also believe that the country that is "India" has played a major role in Bhutan's expulsion of Nepalis. How else do you explain that fact that while India allowed the ethnic nepalis to come from Bhutan to Nepal, they did not allow the same Bhutanese to go back to Bhutan. The Bhutanese wanted to go back when they realised that Bhutan was plotting to keep them out for a long haul in the hope that they will stay out.

India, fears that if nepalis start doing well around Bhutan, Darjeling, Sikkim then they might start demanding those areas back from India (which right belongs to Nepal). This is the reason why they are supported maobadis. Also why they instigate mainly ethnic nepalses to fight among themselves.

We must see-through the indian agenda.

We must be as active as we can in getting justice to the Bhutanese people.

Justice delayed in Justice denied
Lets take action againts Bhutan. Lets send letters around the world asking for economic sanctions againts Bhutan's king. Let him be tried by the international court.
