1974AD and Deep Shrestha perform in Denver on 8/4 and will head to Dallas TX on the 5th or early 6th. It is about a 17 hour drive and they have only 1 driver. It is dangerous for 1 driver to do the trip in one long shot, putting the lives of our precious artists at risk. The band and Deep Shrestha are looking for a place to break their journey somewhere in Western Texas, Kansas or Oklahoma area. Looking at the map the following cities seem like good bets for a one night stopover:
Amarillo, TX, Wichita, KS or anywhere along the I-70 and I-135 intersection in Kansas, or even Oklahoma City if somewhere 1/2way does not work out.
All they will need is a place to crash for one night. they are 8 people in one big van. They will also need a relatively secure place to park their van which will be full of equipment.
They are on the road and asked me to send out this message on their behalf seeking any Nepali families/friends to house the band for one night in any one of the above places. If you or anyone you know can help out in this matter please post a response or call 703-309-9106.
