I would suggest you to fly by Air India. Which is just one stop via London to Delhi but you have to wait in Delhi for another 6,7 hours to get 11:30 AM flight to Katmandu.Tickets are available from $950 - $ 1000 for roundtrip.Or you might get cheaper than this depending on the travel agencies.

Try Korean Airlines. The cost comes up around $1000.
