I work in sikkim for 3 years immediately after my completion of gradution.Same company open it's office here at US.Now since 18 months I am working in US on H1B visa. I want to apply for GC.But my organisation says that my case with dept of Labor might be denied as I don't have any other company's experience and experience with present company which is filing the case is not counted.That means my experience will be considered zero. Does any body knows how much truth is in this ? What will happen if I apply for labor certification, which is Ist stage for GC filing?will it get clear? Pls reply with your experience regarding immigration matter so that I can give proper reply to my organization.
LL	Posted on 14-Aug-02 02:52 PM Best way is that you need to get promotion in the same company or go to different company so that you can use your privious work experience. ALso, degree... if you have Master's or PHD in the relevent field, that would also be your plus point in labor certification. Just having undergrad degree won't be enough in your case. Use well experienced lawyer.
