this is a great effort,,
Hope Pashupatinath supports Mr Upadhdhya's effort. Despite the result of further investigation and the caste they come from,, these people are all corrupt,, no doubt on it. Their all property should be seized.
Ani corruption and connection with bahun chettris,, no connection. Bahun, chetri, newar or whatso ever,,who ever is in the place,, almost all are corrupt. But see, the chief of the authority,, mr Upadhdhya looks to be bahun,, execeptions are everywhere on earth.Tho bahuns are in big corrupted list,, situation in homeland cannot be concluded to show connection between caste and corruption in nepal.
Once agin,,my thanx to the CIAA for their positive efforts.

Interesting and ironic as it may sound, I wouldn't be surprised/shocked if, in the next few days, we hear that Mr Upadhyay was *relieved* from the chief of CIAA, just like Mr Sharma was relieved from NTV.

Deuba declares mid-term election when everyone knows very well that there is a very little chance of this happening. In a vast area of Nepal, Maobadis will not let it happen. If there is no election, then Dafa 127 and 129 stipulates that the KING will rule the country (or something to that effect).

Now, CIAA acts on the direct blessing/order from the King. Most of the people arrested were promoted/appointed probably by Congressi government. No doubtl the MoF is a bastion of corruption. But it is not limited there. Anyway, how deep is the King's involvement in it? Scare the heck out of every one in Nepal?

It is only a preamble to a new constitution which will very much read like the one we got in 2019 saal.

Sensationalist Title There! I OBJECT

Apparently you have gone into pains to find these stats (unfortunately, they may be true!). But for all your well-intentioned (or was it?) purposes, your title does not do much to remove the existing strife among various castes of Nepal.

When in US, we CRY RACISM!!! but have no problems about CASTE ditching!!!

Is this double standards or what!
orion Posted on 19-Aug-02 09:49 AM

And is the CIAA chief not a Bahun himself ? Two words best describe the logic behind the topic: horse shit. This is a open and shut case of electoral politics and giving it a caste twist is just plain nonsense.
