More Nepalese women 'unhappy with sex lives'
Rising numbers of Nepalese women are divorcing their husbands because they are unhappy with their sex lives.
But officials are blaming reckless modernisation in Nepal for the country's growing divorce rate, with an erosion of the traditional family values usually in place in the mainly Hindu society.
One lawyer claims that women citing family feuds as the reason for wanting a divorce are just hiding the fact that they are not being satisfied in bed.
Anita Chapagain says the likelihood of a woman asking for a divorce increases greatly if she is educated. In a survey of 2,300 married Nepalese women, only 9% said they wanted a divorce - but more than 70% of those were educated women.
Nepali law also favours women when it comes to divorce, with a wife able to go directly to a district court with a divorce petition, but a husband has to get clearance from the village or town council first - which can take up to a year, the South China Morning Post says.
Supreme Court Lawyer Kashi Raj Dahal said: "Marriage is swiftly ceasing to be a social insitution and becoming a contractual partnership."

What do they want? A big 14" co_ck? They should just date blacks if they want that. Dikk size of a Nepali guy, btw, is only about 4 inches. Nepali chics got small toori, 4" is big enuff for their small hole. If they really wanna make their toori loose, they should just by cucumbers.

Most men, Nepali or otherwise, seem to think sex is solely about physiology. Therein lies the problem. Case in point: Euta thita.
But most Nepali women don't divorce unless the situation is unbearably abusive or if the woman is educated, has options in life or has a family and community that will support her and not ostracize her for her decision. Some men in Nepal, like other men from around the world, not only take their male privledge for granted, but are actively abusive and oppressive. Why should women stay with men who might beat them, force them to have sex? why should they stay with men who cheat on them, beat the kids, and away their hard earned money.
In most cases, sex is not the issue when talking about divorce. If relationship lack in things like love, tenderness, mutual respect, acceptance, well, sex simply becomes the straw that breaks the fabric of the marriage. If the woman has a choice in whether she can must live that life or choose to live one that is more hopeful, which would she choose??
In old days, women might not have been able to choose to leave the marriage, not only because of law, but also because of the social/economic barriers.
But anyhow, as someone already said here, if women want to get divorced because the sex is bad, well, more power to them!!
Note to Euta Thita: Please just speak from your experience and please don't try to generalize about things that are based on your individual case.

What do Nepali girls want? Divorce?
Divorce with Loyal Nepali man, and go to with Pakistani Taxi divers, Hang out with New York Yo Yo, or go to Church or Night Club to look American Boy. And American guys who even don't look at one time to little shorty and become desperate and psycho. Even American guys make interest on you shorty. They have interest on you only for fun and sex. American and European girls are most beautiful girls in the world. If you are shorty, that means you can claim yourself that you are beautiful? Do you think American and European guys care like you shorty, like their own child? Even they care about you, you have mark on your calendar everyday and count day and time. What do you think shorty?

Many women are unhappy primarily because of the lack of resources average nepalese can afford to their wives. Most of the other reasons are secondary.
Although many a times sex is a problem, it is not the primary cause in most cases.
How can you support your sexy wife of age 20-25 with your meagre salary of 4000- 5000 a month? The lack of resources for good life leads to conflicts of interest as to what to buy, how to buy and what not to buy. These small conflicts and arguments in due time grow, leading to poor minlging among family members, including between wife and husband. Grownups will live the family, some minors will disappear into cities, finally it also comes to wife and hustband to take a step.
Most Hindu women still are far more tolerant than any other counterparts in this world. Most Hindu men are by far less aggressive than any other counterparts in this world; the history of mankind is a witness to it. This fact is my own observation, but it is most likely true. Primarily because of the tolerance of our Hindu naris, our families are still the best in this world.
It is up to us Hindu men to improve our social status, improve our moral values and develop our economic status. I'm pretty sure our Hindu naris will not defy us in this endeavor; they will only support us. Then these problems will disappear! When such a time comes, the counterparts in this world will not stand a single chance! Agreed that time will not come that soon!
