Acharya, Trikal ji,

Hate is a pretty sturdy word. Nonetheless, if you want to hate, you are free to do so. I keep my options open, may it be in Nepal or in the US, or even in Africa for that matter. Nothing comes easy in life. When you wrestle hard for a thing and you get it, that becomes the sweetest thing. I have experienced that many times.

I think, the best way is to make the best out of things that you have around you at the moment. Life is too short, at least for me, to dwell on something that I could have should have and etc. It is always better on the hindsight. I let go of those things and press on the things that I am about to embark on. One is free to hate Nepal if desired, for I am no one to demur one's phantasmagoria. One hates and one loves and that makes the bunch of us. There are people even in the US (americans whites, blacks ....) who hate their own country.

Decency, integrity .....etc are what I call morale codes that separate good ones from bad. For as long as there is life on this planet, both good and evil will exist. One thing that is important to comprehend, however, is that we have to teach ourselves and our children and children's children what is right and what is wrong again and again.

As they (who?) say, Be the damn good you can be and be happy about it. Give your smile to every living creature near you and simle at least once a day for yourself..

It's not hate for USA but love for Nepal that is going to take me back to my own "aangan", "pakha" and "lek, besi".

Acharya Guru,

Hate is quite a strong word, don't you think? I, for one, do not hate the US although I sometimes don't agree with some of its policies. Like Siwalik so aptly put it, it's more about loving "dadha, pakha, bhanjyang" and "aaghan, chautari" that sometimes makes you long for your motherland. And rightfully so.
