Wagle asked for bank details

KATHMANDU, Aug 23 – The Property Investigation Commission has requested banks and finance companies to provide full details of accounts and property of a prominent minister in the Deuba cabinet.
Sources said the commission on Friday sent a letter to banks and financial companies to disclose all kinds of accounts in the names of Minister Chiranjibi Wagle or his family members within seven days.
The letter specifically states the names of Minister Wagle and his sons Devendra and Mahendra Sharma Wagle.
The source said that the commission requested for personal bank details because the disclosure form submitted by the Minister was not satisfactory. The commission has in the past made such requests to banks and financial companies. (rk)
