A copy/paste from my mailbox. -PS =========================== Please distribute: The National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (National CAPACD) is the first national organization to focus primarily on the affordable housing, community and economic development needs of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs). Our mission is to enhance the capacity and ability of AAPI community based organizations across the nation to conduct community development activities. The National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (CAPACD) is seeking interns for ten weeks this fall with an avid interest in public policy, urban planning, and/or affordable housing and economic development related Asian American and Pacific Islander issues. Interns will receive opportunities to get involved in policy and legislative research, promote membership outreach, assist with media and communications development, meet community and congressional leaders, and more. (Stipends are negotiable). Materials Required: * Completed application. (Attached) * Resume, including extracurricular activities * A one page typed, double-spaced essay answering the following two- part question.
