Rafting in the Bagmati! That has to be the scariest experience ever... if you fall into the river you contract Hepatitic C or scabies or you melt away! Has the river suddenly grown or something. I remember when I was growing it was a river one could raft or kayak in, but last I saw Bagmati was a piddly little stream, black as tar. Maybe it is a good sign to have this festival... whatever it is kudos to the rafters for braving the waters of Bagmati!
