I wish there were some link in the column (now Nk's column) so that readers can post views on the column directly there. I would love to write to the author there and then rather than come all the way to kurakani and create an entirely new thread and hope the author would come and read it.

And Nk, I really liked your column :-)
NK Posted on 28-Aug-02 03:54 PM

Hey, i was staring at the board hoping, hoping dearly somebody would say something! Danke schoen! I had asked the webmaster to do so but he sneered at me saying "chichi pani papa pani!" Can you believe it? Maybe we should petition it. What say? This is not only for me but for the future columnists too!

Hello? kohi sunney cha? :)
cardinal Posted on 28-Aug-02 04:39 PM

NK's column has been viewed 62 times now, and I am sure there would have been 62 postings already if not less. Sajha.com is being deprived of 62 divya bani s. Webmaster, where art thou?
Sangam Posted on 28-Aug-02 04:55 PM

NK,

Very good start. I hope you won't be a 'boli ko boka'. I have enjoyed your views, poems on various subjects and am very glad to see your column. Keep on writing.
Nepe Posted on 28-Aug-02 05:05 PM

NK,

I could not read what you wrote. I was just mesmerized by your cute and sexy pic. My my, you are one hell of..I don't know..I forgot all my vocabulary. Lady, you are a walking poetry !
cardinal Posted on 28-Aug-02 05:20 PM

I clicked on NK's picture all day today hoping it would enlarge in a new window or something. I think the site should have that feature as well. I am sure Nepe will agree with me on this matter.
Nepe Posted on 28-Aug-02 05:36 PM

I agree Cardinal.

And NK, Ah ha, so that picture is actually recycled from another thread "Empower Dalit..". Hmmm..
Poor Gokul, he was thinking you must be still loving deurali, bhanjyang, dhindo, gunyu, kurtha, suruwal and so he was throwing a dart, thou art that...?
NK Posted on 28-Aug-02 05:41 PM

You guys!
Nepe , Wanna go on a date? Just kidding!!!!!!!!! Please!!!!!! that was a joke.

Please comment on the material (as if there is any!) as our dear Paramender I mean Paramendra would say. :))) [could not help it. :)]

I wish I would see errors before I post. I always see after.l. Somehting is wrong with me! I think it is the old age. Whre is my walker?
NK Posted on 28-Aug-02 05:43 PM

And I think Cardinal is skewing the result. All those hits must be by him dueta tinta chodera.
cardinal Posted on 28-Aug-02 05:52 PM

Hey Nepe: How on earth did you find out that the pic was from the other thread? You must have a photographic memory to remember a face that long. Or did you go through all the archives in search of NK's photo? Man, you are more intense than I thought.

And Nk, I hovered over your "corner" all day today, initiated this thread to popularise it, and even registered myself to make a more prominent impression to you and you are asking Nepe for a date? Oouch! That really hurt.
NK Posted on 28-Aug-02 06:03 PM

Didn't mean to hurt you Cardinal. It is just that I "Know" Nepe. This is the first time I have seen your name. How could I ask for a date somebody I do not know?

But I do appreciate your comments.

And thank you Sangam.
cardinal Posted on 28-Aug-02 06:08 PM

Ok, a date with me hai ta?
NK Posted on 28-Aug-02 06:12 PM

Cardinal, that was a joke! My asking date. I am a married woman, for god's sake. There are many many desirable, smart, sexy women abound here in Sajha! Just open your eyes a bit more, will ya? :)

Ok I am off now. I have a packing to do. See you all in two weeks!
cardinal Posted on 28-Aug-02 06:16 PM

Hehe, NK I am sure you know I was just kidding. And yes I know you are married.

:-)
cardinal Posted on 28-Aug-02 06:19 PM

By now I am kind of feeling bad that I did not actually write anything about the article you wrote. I hope you won't mind that.

Ok time to go home now.
neo_gush Posted on 28-Aug-02 06:29 PM

folks,
How can i get to NK's column? I have read some of NK's poems and some of her other works but then, I am more curious to see her picture than read anything( not to be understood that her works dont fascinate me, they do!)

cheers.

Gokul Posted on 28-Aug-02 07:52 PM

Nepe,
You deserve the title "Sajha Abhilekh Anusandhan Pramukh".
Wondering how to pronounce your name. Is it Nipi or NayPay or something else? Not that it really matters but sometimes I feel odd and think some letters are in fact missing.

You are right in your observation of my observation (which turned out to be not right).
ugly duckling Posted on 28-Aug-02 09:06 PM

NK, someone had to start, right? so.. it was you. The column got quite a number of hits. I enjoyed reading it. I didn't see you as being "bali ko boko(boki)" but definately a star..:) . would love to see some more pictures..

By the way, have you seen mother goose?
Nepe Posted on 28-Aug-02 10:10 PM

Gurudev Gokul,

Today is the luckiest day of my life. Two people whom I truly adore have bestowed on me unimagined honor. Gurudev’s cheerful title ofSAAP and NK’s priceless kidding (I would’t think twice to give my life if I must to make that real, NK. I am not kidding. You “know” what NK means to me. Yes, that nishthuri NK, but this dildar NK too).

Pal bhar ke liye koee hamey pyar karey,…juda hi sahi !
(Paramendra, did I get it right ?)

Talking about Sajha Abhilekh anusandhan, I was first attracted to Sajha by now very old discussion on the issue of religion where Gokulji’s rare postings mesmerized me (Thread “Hinduism and Chritianity”, 21 Nov 2002- 3 Dec 2001, 56 total postings, 5 from Gokul). Gokul had compared the Vedanta and Buddhism as the Integral calculus and the Differential calculus respectively in one of the postings. In another posting he illustrated Christianity and Hindu(ism) with debit and credit account. Not only me, everybody was impressed. Our very darling NK had announced that she is his chela(i) from now on ! Anyway, after my entrance to Sajha (then GBNC.ORG), for a long time I was disappointed not to find any postings from him or remained unquenched with his rare appearances. However, each and every posting from him always contained something precious to hold, to ponder, to cherish or to doubt. (I don’t have to tell this, do I ? His postings speak for themselves !). OK I stop here. Let me spend the few minutes left of today with a complete blessedness. Who knows about tomorrow ?

And Gurudev, however you pronounce my name, your punya-swor will make it blessed. I pronounce NayPay when I read it, my childhood nickname- NayPay/Neptay.
Nepe Posted on 28-Aug-02 10:14 PM

Oops, typo, read 21 Nov 2001. I came back to keep the abhilekh right.
Biswo Posted on 28-Aug-02 10:35 PM

Nk,

That was a real good stuff, I mean the picture too.

I jhannai missed that, didn't I? Would write you more later.
SITARA Posted on 28-Aug-02 10:58 PM

NK;

You really have to enlighten this late comer into this cyber community. I read one of your poetry (I enjoyed...it; put some reflection to it too!) but what colum??????? :( I enjoy reading opinions in different forms...I just need some direction as to which thread to hold on to so it dorawos me to the colum.

Lately, I have been too busy trying to "clean" up my "sophisticatedly, flirtatious image" .... Nepeji you rogue...is this where the "UN" peace patrol hides out???? no wonder!

Seriously, NK ji....what are they talking about? I do write too.......short stories and poetry (hopefully publishing one soon, but in my real name!!! ;)....so am genuinely interested in reading yours. Can I comment too????....

aybe there have been other columnists at the site before, but for me, NK, you are the first one. The Vasco De Gama, Marco Polo, Columbus --- sorry, all dead white men --- of sorts. It had to be NK. Who else?

http://www.sajha.com/sajha/html/column.cfm?extraid=48

The plus: it’s you. Your personality comes forth. The minus: readers can not leave comments at the bottom. And the column is not archived!? I don’t believe it. San will have to take care of those two features if he is serious about inviting columnists aboard.

No wonder there are no columnists for Sajha.

“…the way it chews food with its mouth open, the way it spits and scratches its private part…”

Could this be San! (kiddin’)

“…‘Gyan Prapti.’ …”

Have you noticed, most US colleges are in the woods!

Nice picture. I’m glad I am not alone no more. Now you can share the heat of posting self portraits with me.

“….and if everything fails, there is Paramendra’s essays and ‘anepalikt’s’ Praire Home Companion! …”

Some grand finale! ;-)

ndeed, dead they are. I am sure some native Americans are glad about it :) Maybe, the next genaration will say something like: You are the pioneer like Paramendra, Sitara, and of course NK. :) Yes the wood and enlightenment. There is something to say about that. Remember how J. Krishnamurthi (g. krishanmurthi) used to take a walk every morning for hours at end?

Paramendra, I hope you don't mind that I will copy and paste this thread to the other thread that was originated before this? It will be easier to keep track.

And sitara, I read in the other thread you are near-published writer. Share with us, will you? And, yes, this is all about entertainment. If you as a reader found the column entertaining, my job is done. :) I come here mainly to play.

trying to correct a grave error

I meant to say *not* G. Krishnamurthi.

And *I* got dropped when I moved the whole thread. Read: *Indeed*.....
