Few months ago, there was a thread on songs of "manila and uday sotang". I found lots of people were interested on their songs. I have their "Darpan" album and five other songs they presented live in NTV few years ago (not a great quality but those songs are gem for their fans) in mp3 format. If anybody uses KAZAA and wants me to share those file, i am more than willing to do so. I hope you guys will share me your nepali songs too.
I have a cable connection, so there wouldn't be problem downloading it.

I was just wondering if it is right idea. If i should do it or not?

Give me some views on that and which day is appropriate to leave my computer on for a whole day? i prefer "friday aug 30th or anyday after that until september 2".

give me some ideas please.

Soulfree and other free music lovers and distributers,

As I have always in the past and will conitnue to support only surviving industry of Nepal. Please do not kill Nepal's only surviving industry. Music industry and film industry are the only fully nepali dependent industry in Nepal.

What I mean is there's no other idustry could survive in Nepal from paper factory to Jute factory, Carpet industry to ISP business, restaurant business to Hotel business because they all are dependent on foreign source.

I think Uday and Manila Sotang will appreciate if you listen their music by buying cassette or Cds. Our singers in Nepal are just started getting some peanuts from their creation. There are lots of music studios who have invested money in this industry.

Please make a habit of buying it. I know we who live abroad miss a lot nepali music and nepali movies. This is one best way to support our motherland buy buying there stuff. If you can please market their stuff too.

I have seen lots of people come here to Sajha and show their concerns, frustrations about our country. We are always very good in blaming other people, blaming government, politician, bureaucrats. We always tell let's do something, what can we do for our country etc etc.... But nobody never think about what I have done, what can I do small things to help my country.

Please don't misuse the technology and your ability by cheating our country. Distributing other's creation is cheating and crime.

Let's all support our country's economy by doing little thing.

Id more than love to buy their CD's than download it, but where can i find their original cd's in US or any other part of the world rather than Nepal? I don't take it as a misuse of technology, but as expanding a music to wide range of audiance. Its like radio.

well i was not sure what to do, so i asked for a advice. Thanks for it.

I have bought so many times from Dhukuti using credit card. It's safe. Once I called them their toll free number 1-866-DHUKUTI and told them that I'm sending check. Then they send me the Cds after they got my check so you can use check also.
