Since i am posting this under literature i think it would only be fair to post a poem, so here is one that is currenlty listed in Suskera.

Reflections

By Kumud Pyakuryal

stagnant
dreary days of the great american plain.
often i seek to understand,
radio off, driving along, strong,
i feel i should be,
remotely the urge surges in vain.

leave, depart, go back, don't sell your soul to a distant date.

struggle, stifle, the dejected stare,
does he question my right,
does she feel overwhelmed, overstepped,
i feel i should be,
able to shrug the natives' snare.

leave, depart, go back, don't sell your soul to a distant date.

shackles hold, strong, bold, braided greed.
shangrila no more, not anymore,
noose tight, stiffening, snaps off into the oblivion,
can justice possess a prophet,
can you terrorize, struggle, and still be freed.

leave, depart, go back, don't sell your soul to a distant date.

mirror does not tell the truth or our trait.
nor does it lie completely,
disdained, we the displaced,
often i wonder who endorses our fate.

leave, depart, go back, don't sell your soul to a distant date.
