"The renowned and artistic Sri Krishna Temple made of stones was built by the then King of Patan Siddhi Narsingh Malla in 1936 B.S." This is what is written in Nepalnews.com, in the article titled "Shree Krishna Janmashtami Observed". I do not think if the date given is correct as that would make Siddhi Narsingh Malla ruling Patan till 1936 B. S., where as when prithivi narayan shah, as the historians put it, conquered the Valley it was 1825 B.S., and subsequent years he went on to defeat Patan and included it in the whole greater Nepal . I believe the temple was built somewhere in 1700 B.S. ANY COMMENT?????
