After looking at the pics posted here, I realise that there are lots of ugly nepali folks living in Boston.
I expected to see some (at least) attractive girls in Boston at the 1974ad concert, but ohh no, I am heavily dissappointed now.
Aren't we nepali generally ugly(that includes me as well)...???????
Well, it is said that, "the ability to see beauty is the ability to stay young".. I think I've gone way past my sell-by date ... :(

Whenever ppl comment about how ugly others are, I have one thing to say to them. SHOW US YOUR PICTURE and LETs see your sorry ass first, before you go on to make comments about others.
It is not required that everyone be pretty and beautiful, in addition to the fact that different people find different aspects in a person beautiful.
It would be better if you could keep your insecurities about your ugliness to yourself.

A woman is beautiful to you if she makes you forget all others.
Thats why its vague phrase. For a infant, his/her mother is the most beautiful woman in the world, because s/he forget all other women.
For teen age boy, a girl is beautiful who is cute in face, sexy on her dress, and shows her 80% skin surface open.
For a young man, his girl friend is beautiful only if she is capable to make him forget all her rivals.
For man who is in 40- 60, a woman is beautiful, if she knows how to respect /socially treat her husbands friends and relatives. Face hardly matters. Whether she can understand his needs, and his styles-expectations.
For an old man, a woman is beautiful if she always with her, .... I don't know other things..... how much she care ...
For a poor allare keta, no girls in earth are beautiful, because he is financially and mentally poor to understand "what woman wants". Because of frustrations, he feels/pours his anger, he sees no beautiful woman around him. Beautiful womans are everywhere if you are very happy person, very intelligent and satisfied.

I am lazy typing things outside things for SAjah.com. The quote of Clarence Buddinton Kellan on his father, the quote cited by Thamel.com dedicated to fathers day, caught me. Before I copy the quote I wanted to know who is this guy. Then I put his name in Google Bar and searched. Then I found a website with 100s of quotes. Finally, I went to see the definition of beauty given by many peoples, and the link is as follows.
I found the following one most appropriate answer to the guy who initiated this thread. Here we go :
As soon as beauty is sought not from religion and love, but for pleasure, it degrades the seeker. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson ~
After scanning the quotes on beauty, I realized my own quote (Thanks NePe jyu for reminding me) is conclusion of all those quotes.
A beautiful woman is a vague phrase. ---- HahooGuru (... LOL)

Humm ... the guy offended a diasphora... should it matter if the guy had said most of us are ugly... for me, no. My wife enumerates to me some 32 elements of ugliness inherent in me (remember battis lakhchan!), and I always thank god that there are only 32 or so.
Are we over-reacting? Or else Are we "chore ko khutta kaat bhanda khutta uchalneharu?"
One suggestion I've to the guy: go to a Russian party and let know what you see?

Sitara, I am disappointed to read your following line.
"Hahooguru, out of curiousity, you quote everybody...but not Parmendra ji...Why?"
I was in fact communicating with Paramendra, in some other thread. I read many stars on his reviews, and I also read why he got so many stars, I surely cited those things. You are trying to create a gap, I become a good friend of Paramendra (provided he accepts me... ). He is so versed, me a "jackle" can not compete with Lion in debates. I am just trying to make my life out of Lion's Sikar. I am just afraid, whether the Lion will "Hooooo to me... for mistakes that hurts Lion". No flattering. Thats my observation. I know Param... for long time since his TND days....

--- I wish you know basics of set theory: union and intersection.
We post things here such that all most all topics are touched i.e. Union of all writers is 1 (all topics covered).
We read things that suits our needs. Thus, its intersection. We read things that are published in Sajha.com, out of those postings which suit our interest. Thus, its intersection. We have less number of readers to read a particular thread or topic, thus, intersection is very low. So, what Paramendra posts where is not only the matter of importance, what Paramendra should also know is that who will read his postings too. So, if he knows intersection concept in Set theory, he can save his time and effort of publishing the articles or URL that No one will read. Its writer who should look at his reader and save his time and effort, well, if he has enough time, I have no objection. But, you post volume which are out interest of the readers in this forum, sometime you find no response, no reader. So, Intersection between reader and writer is zero, uncorrelated r=0 . In graphs, if X is number of posts and if Y is number of readers, then, y=a is the relation between writer and reader while writer expects y=mx+c relation. Unfortunately, y = a has r = 0 and it means whatever number of postings you publish you won't get additional readers, because your postings are uncorrelated, r =0. My suggestion is to post articles to match the itnerest of readers, or create interest on readers. IF you post volumes of URLs and postings, beyond a thresold limit, you will have r = -1, what does it mean? It means readers will find difficulty to sort out what to read and what not to read from original writer, so there is another parameter coming in the intersection i.e. time and effort. Well, then, it comes the concept of REVIEWER. So, reviewers in this forum are those writers have have wide interest to sort out what is useful and what is not and have enough time. Their postings in each thread increases the "number in bracket" , i.e. equal to stars to the tread, i.e. number of posting in a article, that San had listed at the end of title on front page. Thus, most important reviewer is the guy who writes first on a thread (don't confuse with thread creator). If this first writer's comment is dumb, not many will probably read the article, as long as another reviewer reviews the original write up again writes his revew "follow up" in sensational way... As I wrote in some other thread, that a reviewer is one who reads posting and explains with added info. to readers to protect them from each other. So, useless threads (outsid intersection) just vanish in the ocean of Sajha.com's forum. Finally, we should remember that no brand last longer if the brand produces same quality products as you get in street corner, or it produces things that are not useful to its customers, how many will buy such branded material jsut to put in show case. Thats the reason RollsRoyace car is now financially in trouble, we know its a great car, high quality, but, its not for common peoples (mass use, only specialized use). . . . .. . Similarly, some threads appear here that are of RollsRoyace quality, but, very few readers (follow up writers) will dare to touch it.... They will say, its not for us. For us, Old Toyora 73 Corolla is best choice when there is Suzuki Maruti lining up in parallel to that old Toyota 73 Corolla, because Toyota 73 Corolla is cheap, but, has good cushion compared to even freshly new Maruti Suzuki. .... Well, in that ... anyway, we are not going to Stone on those who want to ride RollsRoyace in bumpy KTM road, only thing those RollsRoyace car riders should know that its democracy, they have to move in between Toyota 73 model and Maruti suzuki, in dusty road, with common people not many knows what is Rolls Royace car too. So Brand is good only if peoples around you are familier with it, but are dying for it, or else you teach them that its brand "hire reviewers" . . . . . .. If you can not hire reviewer, then, there is no point in complaining that I bought Rolls royace in 1 million dollar, how worst are peoples they don't care such a precious car. . . . .

Sitara: If I want a Honda Civic I will go to a Honda dealer and not a BMW, Porche, Corvette. Toyota, TATA, MARUTI, Ambassader, Rickshaw, Autorikshaw...dealer!!!
--- Wait.
The day will disappear very soon that you will actually want to buy a pure Honda Civic or pure Honda Accord (well in 1991-94, Honda was #1 in US for cont.3+ years). only yesterday, Japan's pioneer in car production, Toyota and Nissan have have announced that they will jointly work to produce a hybrid car. . ... Disappointment to Pure Toyota Fans and Pure Nissan Fans.
The day is coming very soon, where you can have engine made of Honda and body of BMW, axel to driving shaft made in Toyota ... Seat made by Benz ...
Do you know what is this? This is called Modular Design. In modular design you don't look intricate details of parts, but, you have some modules (in computer programmer's language: PACKAGES) and they have pluggs, like we have MS Internet Explorer, that makes only basic I. Explorer, but, plugg ins make our life better in internet surfing and make it complete. Similarly, in car also you will find a workshop Dr. Car who will recommend you to assemble modules and give a few weeks before all modules arrive to his workshop where it can make BMW looking car combined of best modules. .. ... . In computer production too we have modular assembling, and therefore, our MOS COM Nepal, has MOS Com brand (cover design) and rest ... you know what I mean.
.So, next stage of life is "No one has exclusive monopoly". Modular concept was first (at initial stage) popularized by Boeing. Because its engine comes from other factories and now if you go and check Boeing, it is rather an assembling plant ... (hahha ... looks joke hai).
Therefore, in Sajha.com no one is exclusive neither me nor you nor Ashu or Paschim. Yes, its all because of Entropy. Its because of news, books education, the knowledge you have mostly others also have, i.e. intersection is very high, when it comes to common sense topics. Well, like Honda's engine, we need some very special knowledge that someone specializes, it may be Paschim or Ashu or Sitara in their particular field, still we can have our life without them, like we can have car made by Diahatsu ... only matters is how much money you have and how much comfortable drive you want. . ... But, "Module" will be theme in this century by next generation people and exclusive brand will disappear, once our generation disappear from this earth. We are very feudal, and too much brand oriented. (e.g. he is SLC Board First, he studied in Sudha, he went to Imperial College, he is son of Falana, ... he studied so many books, he writes so much .. are not important in MOUDLE concept. In module concept, what it can do, how much efficient is it and whether it seves my objective should be the main criteria).
"MODULE" education is already there, today, under/graduate students in some universities are promoted to go to another univ. and take courses they like, so they get that package "MODULE" from the other univ. and graduate as most diversified and capable professionals. So, Today's life is module, and module needs plugs, plugs should be compatible, that is the basic requirements. If your module is good, but, has worst outdated CRC232 plug, no body will be buying the module, compared to someone who has USB plug. In Sajha.com also we need threads "module" they have USB plugs.
Sorry for my long Prabachan. You can reject my POSTINGS "MODULE" in Sajha.com if you find its having bad PLUGG "lack of interesting / humorous / enlightening / length: short and brief ". Kasto Lagyo MODULE RA PLUGG-IN ma diyeko mero Prabachan. Satisfied? Feedback please. Those who are not familier with MODULE concept, should not confuse with "small small PARTS".
an exmaple of "Module" for common people:
You want to have BD dinner. 4 busy rich 100K earning peoples .
1. Module 1 Coke (represents drinks) 2. Module 2 Beer/Wine (represents alcohol) 3. Module 3: Cake 4. Moule 4. Bhujiya 5. Module 5. Pizza hut ko Pizza 6. Module 6. King Momo (ktm, ordered via MunchaHouse.com, delivered by by DHL, in frozen form
Here, these 4 biz. peoples don't have to go to Gupta restaurant eat things that are available in Gupta restaurant (a common name of shops in KTM). But, they can stay in NY in the hotel they had biz. meeting for whole day, could get all those things in a rented dining room of the hotel's suite room.
Clarification: the 4 biz. are not concerned with the ingredients of cake, and they know cake should be delicious, "oisiii". Cake is responsibility of Fujiya Cake.
They are not interested in how Pizza is manufactured, they know only one thing it should be tasty. They know Pizza Hut serves best pizza. they, don'T like to go to pizza and eat spaghheti to make complete dinner. Just order the pizza.
Well, King Momo made in New Road in Nepal, is said to best, but, the other items are not so competitive in King Momo's shop. But, they know Munchahouse.com can serve their need by asking DHL to carry in frozen form with shorted route, within in 24 hours.
Thus they make a big dinner. They got those MODULES from diffent shops, without bothering to find a shop that offers an alternative.
"TAKE HOME" is a brilliant concept and is an example of modular concept.
"Hahoo" and "Guru", these two modules when combined was best name for me. Hahoo has two parts HA & HOO, sub parts, H x 2,Ax 1, O x 2... Module is complete item that servers one purpose and is highly portable. H x 2,Ax 1, O x 2... does not make any sense, except characters, but, Hahoo has some meaning. "Hahoo" can be used with many other modules e.g. HahooFanClub, HahooMitraHaru, Hahooligans .... You plugg-in with others, it makes a new independent item or another module of modules. .... Hahoo still indicates what HahooFanClub would mean, always separable, i.e. Hahoo ko satta Runche is OK, but, it will RuncheFanClub, it gives different meaning. .............

Anyway, Sitara-ji and others, I hope you will continue communicating with our Gurudev --his postings are the nicotine of Sajha, just plain addictive. Sometimes their lengths daunt you (like your ciggie's cancerous promise), but believe me, you really can't stay away from them...I spotted Gurudev in cyberia over 8 years ago, and became his instant fan...tried to immortalize him in my infamous Gaunthali humor series, but Guru-ji objected, so had to drop the idea...but our association continues, and I remain the Prez of his fan club, and he remains our ultimate guru.

Hahoosama;
I love your hahoo modular theories...it is just I happen not too look under the hood!!! Too complicated for me. I ask someone else waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay erudite (like yourself) to look under the hood for me and explain entrophy and still not understand it :( Perhaps, I just apply it is a more simplistic (humanistic(?) form, where human tendencies do not seem to fit the "norms" of society. For what is "normalcy" if not "off-centric". So, laws of physics are better left unstudied for the likes of those who seem to be working in an "antrophied (?)" society. Theories keep changing as human behaviours do; "abnormalities" keep cropping up as new "deliquencies" surface! I n my humble field the absorbent mind of growing children cannot be looked upon as "entrophied (?)" or disintintegrating... And you are right about being able to survive (or have I...?)without having to have an erudite knowledge of someone elses field...........I just leave the crown to scholarly sensei's such as yourself to explain in a "scientific" way what NIH has been trying to explain for decades....
As for food....I love, Japanese rice liberally sprinkeled with furikake and serve with simple zen logic.... refer to the "zen of making tea"...
Paschim ji.... Undeniably, Hahoosama has the makings of a great sage...and a huge fan following. But some of us ardant fans get hoplessly lost his great and meandering logic...... :( Again...now, I am getting the feeling that I may be suffering from a mild case or entrophy... :( or ADHD.... Because by the time he finishes...a=b=c=d=e=.....................n, and therefore a=n, my slowly disintegrating mind comes to the conclusion.......of "How the hell did I exist without this vast erudite, scholarly, one-size-fits all knowledge/field and discipline, theory!!!"
SCARY!!!!!!
But you are right in having recognized the potentials of such a worthy guru......I truly appreciate a small fact that "Great minds (such as yours)think alike!"
Dare I claim enlightenment?????????? or even a fleeting glimpse of it? That, is in itself such an intimidating thought for those of us entrophy-challenged!!! :(
Love your prabachans tho...........Hahoosama...I can only sit at your feet and gaze adoringly at your words and utter just one word of enlightenment and say "Gee!"

No, I do not live in Japan; I live in VA, USA. As for using the Japanese lingo....I guess it is a case of osmosis.. ;). It is a case of fascination with the "Chrysanthemum and the Sword", I suppose.
As for my writing; thanks. I plead laziness (more than anything else) to credit my writing and writing style!! :) But, it is amazing to note how many eloquent and powerful writers there are among the Sajhaites....
The "twakkaness" is as hybrid (motor car hoina ni.......! ;) as the pizza and hariyo khursani combination.......comes entirely from the "left field". Unlike MADMAX, I am right-field challenged! ;) It is a mental state of the "white ninja"........
Dirk; Goscinny and Uderzo's answer to kicking the Romans' behind was "Cleopatra" of course! ;) If logic and reasons don't cut it...temper tantrums will! ;)

Where is "here"? US? Usually Barnes and Nobles and/ or Borders carry the American version. Also, check online with Folio Publications (England-based)...they should have it.
Oui c'est vrai, it is zee best....non?
:)
You want to talk about memory lane.... Asterix, Tintin, Iznogood, BC......I could go on!!
What about Amar Chitra Kathas??
Don't laugh, I used to read Louis L'Amour, Alistair Mclean (sp?) (considered boys' books!!)...too, any written material...I could get my hands on!! :)
