Maoists renew dialogue offer with Govt.
KOL Report
KATHMANDU, Sept 11 - The outlawed Communist Party of Nepal- Maoists has renewed its offer of cease-fire and dialogue with the government to end the six and a half year old insurgency.
A statement faxed to Kantipur Online Wednesday evening bearing the signature of the Maoist leader Prachanda states his party's willingness to declare ceasefire “for a positive and peaceful political way out”.
The Maoist offer comes days after they launched two separate attacks which left over 100 security personnel and unspecified number of Maoists dead.
The statement said, "We are ready to declare cease-fire and participate in the process of dialogue at any point should the government desires so for a positive and peaceful political way out."
"We really want to end this turmoil through a positive political way out, but if the government forces us to fight, then we shall fight till the end," Prachanda warned.
The party has also made it clear that the extension or non-extension of emergency would not make any difference to their violent campaign. (rk)

Where is Prachand hiding? Why has the government not found the man? Where is his family? Do they keep in touch with him? Maybe their families need to be treated similar to the way the families of palestinian terrorists are treated.

This renewed dialogue offers after every one or two big attacks by Prachanda and company is nothing but a conspiracy so that they can divert the attention of army and other patriotic forces and get ample time in regrouping themselves. This is evident from their recent history. So, we should not be confused with what they are saying. Maybe within some days they will tell that the offer was a hoax.

Get a hold of your self and if you think you are civilized at least try to have conversation as a civilized.
Maobadis are opportunist, power thirsty and money thirsty. They have found a "communism" slogan to cover their faces. This is how the leaders are. They know how to "cash-in" into poor peoples sentiments.
