I often hear people using terms like GET LIFE, GETTING LIFE, LIVE LIFE, Enjoy life.. and what not. I couldn't really get a vision how to get life. How do you "get life" anyway? I just want to live life enjoying it every moment. But i just can not figure out how to "get life" anyway?
How do you guys "get life"? How do you guys "enjoy life"? How do you suggest I can enjoy my life every moment, and don't regret a single moment of it?
Please, give me a vision, show me my way to live my life to the fullest

I think LIFE does not exist..its a metaphor...cause we can't see life can we? we jus feel it....
its like saying , u got a brilliant mind? DOES mind exist?? along the same line.........what the hell am i talking bout..
I have lost my mind, and I am preaching bout life??

Angry:.." get a life"
irritated: "get a life"
depressed: "I have no life"
Specially when you are a sophomore in high school..This phrase is used quite often.
Now three ways to enjoy your life.
Get up in the morning and start "juping" this mantra. I am up , I am refreshed, I need to get a life.
Brush your teeth take a shower. And grab a cup of coffee and get on a computer. Now my friend , you have no life.
You get up in the morning.. Run like forest gump. Feels good , ain't it? Might even boost your self-steem. Come back, you are all refreshed. Eat breakfast and do your thing. Do your work or go to school in the afternoon. And also " keti" jiskau.
Even if you don't get an attention. At least you made some progress today. Come home. Say that mantra' I need to get a life"...go hang out with friends or do whatever you feel but don't EVER come online and start chatting!
I am no Dr. Atkins nor I am some counselor.
People have their own standards of living their life. Do what you feel the best!
Never imitate... but you can always duplicate, if you find other people cooler than you. But keep your own identity.

This thread could have been an excellent place for discussing our new stambhakaar Paramendra's dhamakedar very first article 'Geting a life at Sajha'. But it is already too late.
I was waiting for somebody to bring it to main kurakani section to popularize it like a kind soul had done to NK's column. Unfortunately that did not happen. I think we did not do justice to Paramendra, especially when one remembers the halla-khalla about NK's column (okay about her picture).
Today I checked the archived article. But I was disappointed to find just three respondents. Guru said nothing and Bitchpatroll needs to get a life. But if Texas rancher's suggestion is right (that keeping one's own identity is getting a life) then Bitchpatroll indeed got a life.

Thanks OYS.. but i expected more from you. Texas thanks!!!... You made your point... but how can i go repeating the matra "get life" when I don't really understand the meaning of getting life?
Nepe____ I think your three paragraphs needed a rocket scientist to understand it. I am still trying to understand a Newtons first law of gravitation. Can you just teach me how to flip a burger before making me understand how to make a quarter pounder cheese burger??

I am sorry for puzzling you. Have you had a chance to go to the section of Sajha Column ? Have you read Paramendraji's column (previous article) ? I was talking about that thinking that somehow I can connect it to this thread, at least the titles.

You are the last person I would ever make feel disheartened. You know that, don't you ? What I wrote hear was my attempt at mild provocation to fellow Sajhaites to comment on Paramendraji's article. I had one or two things to say and I did not feel comfortable to say them without some company.
These days my attempts at humor and provocation are not going very well. See, how I made you feel ?
Anyway, while we are at it, may be I should say what those things that I wanted to say about Paramendraji's article were. I was particularly disheartened to see Paramendraji's dislike of people's choice of using anonymousity in Sajha. I thought, although it is possible to go to the archive of the Column, it might be a better idea to discuss it in the Kurakani. Anyway, there is already new article of Paramendraji on the Column on a very hot topic. I liked this one very much. Anyway, I hope there will appear a suitable thread to talk about that.
So NK dear (Have I addressed you like this ever before ??), I hope you are already not upset with me. I will be glad to hear that.

I think you can very well find the meaning of "get a life" just by looking at some colloquial dictionary UnCoOl_JaDed. But if my guess is right you are looking for a deeper meaning of this oft repeated exclamation.
Gokul would have been a much better person than me to answer this deeply philosophical question . Oh well, now I am already here, might as well try to say something, right?
If you look carefully what you have said you have already found an answer. You have said, "I just want to live life enjoying it every moment. " That is "getting a life" my dear. If everybody was so lucky to have the ability to enjoy every moment of her life then this place would have been quite a different place. A serene, calm place where apsara would have been playing harp and you would be drinking madira.
Also people give too much importance being happy all the time. As a positive thinking, being optimistic all the time, at every cost might lead you to a disasterous situation, trying to happy every second of your life may make you miserable. Life is full of ups and downs. At the end what matters is how you sail through, how you conduct in a difficult situation, how unnervingly you will become "happy" in ups and forget this may not last and so on..... (to tell you the truth, there is so much to say and if i keep on saying, I might contradict my self or worse you might just stop listening. ...)
My suggestion? Just Be. If that being is ugly and dishonest then have the sense to change that being and Be, yet again. :) makes sense? try, I will do the same.

yeah, I too was a bit surprised that paramendra decided to address somebody like bitchpatrol in his debut as a columnist of our pyaro sajha. I think we all go through this rite of passage. maybe you did not. you know some body decides to go after a regular poster mercilessly and all that... but we all come out ok at the end. I have not yet read the other one. and another thing this NK thing is getting a bit confusing. Either she has to change her name or I. Somebody has to make a decision very quickly :))

When they suggested me to get life, I went out and searched for a life on the street, found one and banged one. What else!
