Of history you taught and Present I live. ------------------------------------------------ I have just returned home warming an Indian heart in the Bombay Bazar. I have just returned home caressing an Arab child in the far desert. And You talk about prides my fathers lived and fights they fought in the far soil. Decorated in white saree - I see glory in your eyes. Sun kings they were in the valley and blinded the rising sun in the east. Sorry mother, sorry! For this destitude or my own destiny. Coward I have been mother, couldn't hold their pride. Coward I have been mother, hold the gun to kill my own brothers. But, Prides evaporate in the dinning table and leave nothing in the dinner plate. Even the radient moon wilts at the dawn and winter sun still warms a day. I have been coward, mother, but when I am home, I will empregnate heats with hope. when I am home, I will bring red saree to my wife. and unlike you, she will tell my son stories of coming days. This is the path my fathers paved and I walked. They were Sun kings in the valley and I have just returned home from mopping An American Gas Station in the far west. Sorry mother, sorry! couldn't hold their pride. Sorry mother, sorry! I am hungry, And I have yet a life to live.

Brilliant Poem..beautiful. Could u have been more optimistic about what we do here in US? But rest of the things are all truth. All we have to offer to the next generation is the proud stories left by our grandfathers, nothing meaningful..out of our existence. But yeah! I WILL impregnate heat with Hope when I am back there in my matrivumi. Keep up the good work, post more.
