A Young Entrepreneur Amongst Us She came to this country (US) when she was barely 18. That was 14 years ago. Between then and now a lot of things have happened in her life. In fourteen years whose life remains the same, tell me? Some people accept the fate and go on with their life, but few of us chose to fight this thing called fate, and make their own destiny. Tell me how many of us dream to march in our own beating of the drum? And, do tell me also how many try, and how many succeed? So many of us at one time or another dream of winning a lottery, an island off the Greek coast, or being one’s own boss? Be the queen of the universe? I know, I know, some people would just like to be “happy” and lead a peaceful life and die young or just a square meal. This time I am not writing about depressing thoughts, mind you! Bimala dreamt of owning her own drum and play her own tune. Dear Bostonians, she has opened her own salon! No, not that kind of salon where men get drunk and women hide from the sound of gun shots….Hers is a place where you go disheveled and maybe even drunk, and come out looking like Cary Grant or Julia Roberts (oh, just fill in the gaps with the names of beautiful people of this world) or Hillary Clinton – but, I have a sneaky feeling you don’t want that – the Hillary Clinton look, I mean. Oh well. And you may even give a new definition of disheveled. A chic dishevel! A daredevil, a rogue, but a handsome rogue! Spread the news around! Help her succeed. The address is: 1642 A Beacon St. Brookline, MA 02445 617-277-0500 Mention the GBNC site and you will even get a 20% discount on your first visit. Let us wish her all the luck! Namita

Here I go again. Like they say in Nepali: ... sakyo dailo daekhyo. In one of those paragraphs read saloon where I have written salon. You will figure it out where, I am sure. N.

Diwasji, The first word in that 'ukhan' is 'Hagi'. Meaning after you finish saying something, or writing something you realize you made a mistake. pardon my language, but at the time only that ukhan seemed appropriate. btw do you know nepali? just curious. if you don't, then please don't ask me what 'hagi' means. Ask somebody who knows nepali :) N.

Namita ji, Thanks for the clarification. I honestly did not know that ukhan. And I apologize for having put you in this difficult word situation, now that I understand it. Oh, I know what 'hagi' means.. I am a THET_PALPALI. -dk
