A Sajhapur joke : Maoist should not end this Revolution "people's war" until they clean up these corrupted people from Nepal. -- Maoist loot public and poor peoples. Rich like Madwaris, Political leaders (CWC Members of all Political Parties), they pay money to Maoists. Ek hat se janata se ghus lena aur arko hat se Maoist ko ghus dena. Maoists take GHUS "renamed it as CHANDA" to collect money indirectly from poor public. Well, 1st thermo dynamics law, says, when you move in energy cycle, you should not forget about loss. In Nepali proverb, the 1st law of thermodynamics is "Maha kadne le maha chatcha". Political leaders who pay HAFTA to MAoists from collecting GHUS from public, put a part in their bank account. ...Is not that first line a great Sajhapur joke, trying to purify Maoists, and expect them to execute Corrupts. A wrong person can not correct another wrong person. Bayesian Approach also says, Intersection between wrong A and wrong B is Wrong C. all are wrong. A corrupt can not change another corrupt to produce an honest. .............. As long as you don't manipulate zero. In mathematics, zero is zero, should never be replaced by a variable. Similarly, corrupts should not be manipulated as honest. . . .. . HG

In mathematics -ve and -ve make +ve. In society, instead of doing "tai chup, mai hup" criminals (read all corrupt people in society) tell on each other. When this happens all corrupt people are caught. But when corruption and other such criminal activity becomes an accepted part of society then it is very hard to decide whom to lock up and whom not to.

I don't where Hahoo guru got this information that the current political parties take ghus from public just because they have to pay hafta to Maoist. If they're operating like that it's very sad. However, for sure there wasn't any so called HAFTA before 1996. Why was all this leaders so corrupt and taking khullam khulla ghus from public. Before democracy came in 1990, there's was corruption but not to this level. Nobody could ask a person for ghus right in front of everybody. After 1990 the corrupt leaders like Ghusahya Prasad Koirala (G.P. Koirala), who never gives up to be Prime Minister until his death, and his chamchas thought Prajatantra means you can do whatever you want to do. In another words it's "Chhadatantra". I'm not supporting Maoist, terrorism, killing the people but whatever is happening right now in Nepal is created by those foolish leader like Girija Koirala. These people have no sense of patriotism, all they need is power and money. Let's go back to 1991, 1992 early days of democracy. Girija and Krishna Prasad were always fighting for their people to be minister. How same one party Nepali Congress fighitng each other for the minister seat? They were bargaining with each other like I'll let you be Prime Minister but you should give phalano ministry to my person. I don't think they care about democracy and Nepal all they care is money and power. Prachanda just happened to be in a right place to use the poor people. The people had to come one day in this type of situation where people get nothing but frustration. Whatever will be the result but we have to finish this job one day. We need to completely get rid of corruption. We have to be ki waar ki paar, no more this hongover pendulum situation.

One time my friend and I were traveling by night bus and when I got up from my ardha nidra, I found bus is stuck and people are talking about accident ahead. I just wanted to explore and asked my friend to come along (no maoist yet that time), and after walking about a mile or so found the place where many drivers and passengers were gathered around a Tall Sardarji and pointing fingers at him, giving gali to him because of his rash driving the accident happened and everybody is struck. The Sardarji driver was tall among rest of Nepalese drivers and he looked like Mt. Everest standing with all it mights among other small mountains, nobody had any Himmat to touch Sardarji. After hearing enough ramblings Sardarji roared in perfect Nepali "Ye Eklo Sardar Payera Hepeko?". Me and my friend started LOL, it was such an irony for us. Now the point is even the Sardarji was at fault he was soughting from bottom of his vocal chord and nobody had any guts to touch him. In Nepal every one talks about corruption etc, even the Ghusyaha GPC talks about it, the airport custom officer talks about it, and we talk about it, but, when time comes without realizing we participate in the grand scheme knowingly or unknowingly. When we say to somebody 'Ye Milaidinusna' that is corruption my friend, and tell me how many times you have said in your life? So, how could we break this vicious cycle? Through designing a system by the visionaries so that even sensitive people like us will not fall into that trap of Ghus even unknowingly. For example. Let us talk about something which is working in Nepal. Getting admission in prestigious college. No matter how many phone calls are placed by the Ghusyaha minister, even minister knows, there is no way his son will get admitted in the college unless he clears the entrance exam. Once I talked with dean of one of the Universities, and he was saying, "I could not get even my son admitted", and he said at times we think 'what did we do to ourselves'? But he loves it and he is doing the right thing. Can we take this example slowly to other areas in governance? Slowly one by one departments should be made off limit to the Ghus, that's right way of doing and sure way of doing - iti

Nepali Intellectual's suffer from Syndrome that they are always sarcastic and negative to anything their counterpart does. This can be named as "KAT.O.J.I SYNDROME" "Kathmandu ka Over Janne Intellectual Syndrome": those who show their flashes of brilliance and courage by attacking (cynical comments) whichever side is easy to attack. "KATO-ji" [Kura Katne haru ko jamat: KATOji.] I agree with Biswo: Let's put it this way, my case rightnow is not about RNA and its publicity stunts, but about intellectuals and their easy way to show their flashes of brilliance and courage by attacking whichever side is easy to attack. K. Dixit, Khagendra Sangroula, CK Lal, .............. I have never seen, Hari Har Birahi pretending to be a member of KATOji. Its easy to be Hero being Kato-ji member, then, by "NO negative comments". Kato-ji peoples have nothing at their hand, so they call it discussions, and forum .. blah blah .... justify their KATOji syndrome. Are you suffering from KATOji Syndrome? KATOji syndrome developes when you are Dukulanthu intellectual until age of 25 getting huge chunk of money from your parents and spend most of time in tole ko chiya pasal, excercising how to become vetran KATOji. Well, they could not get admission to any good college, and thus, could not get government officer's job (because PSC exam is taugh, KATOji is not criteria to get govt. job). Thus, they finally run some NGOs/INGOs or private companies ..... and continue to be KATO ji. ........ The top level KATOji members finally get political appointments in areas where PSC exam is exempted. KATOji are equivalent to MANDLE. Mandale were using muscle, but, KATOji's over janne peoples who can interpret anything negatively, sarcastically, cynically. HG

Its a real joke: Do you know, you should not have chewing gum inside your mouth when you got chocolate, chocolate will get mixed with Chewing gum and Chewing gum will vanish from your mouth. Be careful if its costly chewing gum. ..... Don't offer chewing gum and chocolate together .... If you don't believe it, just try chewing gum + chocolate together. ... Well, its neither bad for your stomach. (it was based on investigation under the request of a mother whose child was chewing gum and when mother asked to kid about the chewing gum in his mouth. Child was puzzled whe he swallowed and mother was worried. Child said, when he was eating chocolate he forgot to spit it out, and swallowed together. Thus, when researched, it was found that chocolate and chewing gum mix as if usual chocolate and chewing gum vanishes .... No harm to your health. The mother got US$ 3,000. for the scoop). HG

A great joke on "PROGRESSIVE PEOPLE"'s narrow mind. A widow says: if Kumari marry, she will be widow soom\n.... LOL Kantipur Ko news on Kathmandu Post: Shocking comment This refers to the news story titled "Kumari system is against child rights, alleges UML activist," dated September 12, 2002, TKP. We are really shocked to read the statement made by Bidya Bhandari. What she said about the living goddess, Kumari, is utter disgusting. I don’t see any reason why a politician of her stature should speak on such a sentimental issue, without a pint of knowledge on what she was protesting against. Our organisation strongly condemns her. Though a "progressive" leader, she even believes that Kumari’s husband would die if she marries a man. It’s ridiculous. She herself is a widow. Does she mean to say that she is responsible for her husband’s untimely death? Bhandari’s statement will certainly affect her political career. The UML leaders should make her apologize in public if they want the party’s future. Ratna Harsha Bajracharya Chairman,Nepal Mandala Sanskritik Sampada Samrakshyan Sangh, Dhwakha Bahal, Kathmandu
