THE HUMAN COST
UNICEF estimates of the suffering caused by economic sanctions against IRAQ
One in five children under five - or 20% -- are malnourished. The problem shows no signs of abating.
Children under 5 are dying at more than TWICE the rate they were 10 years ago.
Over the past decade there have been 500,000 deaths that could have been PREVENTED.
The Iraqi death rate has increased by approximately 90,000 per year.
THIS IS TRULY SAD!!!
