As I happened to see online edition of GORKHAPATEA in RANGEEN recently, I could not refrain from 'praising' its effort to stay alive in the free market today!

Thanks kunjan! nonmember....it seems now you can no longer be a 'nonmember'! Borrowing few words from 'The Waking' by Theodore Roethke : I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow. I feel my fate in what I cannot fear. I learn by going where I cannot go.

Jayahos-ji, that was very good – you surely know the country very, very well…and that’s a rare feat in itself here… thanks for that reminder about the Gorkhapatra-Durbar-Sambidhan episode…I clearly remember the day…it’s tragic to see how people (not only ugra baam and ugra dakshin, but also many samsadbadis) take today’s Constitution for granted And Gorpkhapatra’s comparison to an ageing “nagarbadhu” is apt. You are good -- will expect more!

Jayahos Ji; Bravo! Your poetry is heart rending. Gorkhapatra has always held intense moments of nostalgia and striking narratives of a country going through tremendous change. "She" has been a personal storyteller of Nepal, in transition. Thank you for reminding us!

SarwaSri Paschim, SITARA, Nepe Manay many thanks for those encouraging words! Paschim: I do not claim to know the country well, but I would sure love to know the country very well! yeh I too do remember that Gorkhapatra-Durbar-Sambidhan episode and it still fascinates me how 'witty' Kisunji (another 'GORKHALI!') took control of the chaotic situation and made even Nirmal Lama sign the constitution – a political prodigy that no one but Kisunji could make happen! SITARA: >>Your poetry is heart rending !!!!!? Nepe: >>very Bhoopisque.. Do you remember 'DHARAHARA' from BHOOPI?

Jayahos ji: "heart rending" as in causing anguish.... (for me) because it reminds me of a different time; bygone days of living in and experiencing Nepal. Touching, I suppose.....meant to be a compliment. :)
