Oh look ...so many helps, so many email addresses. Let me guess...university girl...lonely..need I say more?

Reminds me of these junk mail I get in my hotmail account. But hey, it seems it does have clients.

Lonely girl, let me assure you..you will not be lonely for very long. Did you say public health is your major...or is it really marketing?

Logical Sense Posted on 18-Mar-03 01:43 PM

Dear UniversityGal:

And the UniversityGal dont' seem to be 'real'!

1) The thread starts on 9/19/02 and drags on until 3/19/03 with a pace of one message per month (13 messages in 12 months).

2) My other logical reason is it really does not take long to find out Nepalese studying in any University. All you have to do is go to the Foreign Student Advisor, and ask him/her. They have whole list. And you said you are graduate student. I am sure you might have visited foreign student office several times.

3) And the original poster UniversityGal has not participated after it was posted.

Question is why this thread gets life time and time again?

But, if you are real, then we should give you a friendly Nepali answer.

SIU-Carbondale used to be hub of Nepalease in good old days before exodus of Nepalease all over US (and before they hiked the tuition). Especially in Education department.

If all fails, and if you are truely seeking to find people who are friendly to Nepalese, talk to a professor in Education Department. He is semi retired but still active in the department. All you have to do is to go the department and ask 'Can I talk to a Professor who has visited and worke in Nepal in for the last 30 years'.

Hope that helps. As someone wrote in this thread. Never rely on stranger in this country, take care of yourself dear! Also don't walk at night alone. SIU is considered party school (no pun inteded all you Salukis!)
