Hello mates here is my article plz... make some comments after reading this articles!!!both negative and positive comments r welcome which will definitely help me for a good start! The man sat and watched the small opening appeared on the cacoon and saw the butterfly forcing its body through that small hole. The man decided to help the butterfly taking the pair of scissors snipped the cacoon. He then expected to see the butterfly take wings and fly but it did not happened. The butterfly would not be able to fly again!! In his kindness the man did not realised that struggles are what we exactly need in our lives. if god allow us to go through life without any obstacles it would cripple us .We would not be as strong as we could have been and more importantly we would never fly!!!! I asked for strenght God gave me difficulties to make me strong I asked for wisdom God gave me problem to solve I asked for properity God gave me brain and brawn to work I asked for favor God gave me oppertunities I recieved nothing i wanted I received everything i needed ok mates its up to u to judge whether i'm a good writer or not?????

Nice one Vivan Hey what about people who win Lotteries and stuff? What 'bout those celebrities who get it without doing much? I hate that part of the justice though. But your expression is really applause worthy, Motivating if I may add. Really.

thanx for the appreciation mates!! i was in need of ur support and i got it .once again thank you very much sitara,rusty,dwi,saajan555 and nepe.and yes i got attention by the dwi lottery stuff that was a nice point . i would like to make my comments on dwi s' line. actually the meaning of struggles in my article was only floating on the surface but if u go deep u'll find the exact meaning of struggles.to win the lottery and to get high status they might have struggles alot and winning lottery and having high profiles doesn't mean that they don't have to struggle in their rest life! from the day u born till dealth struggles is there. when we were born we struggle to crawl and after that walk... and at the last stage of live we struggle for dealth. so mate in my articles i was only trying to say that stuggles are important in our life to make us strong, independent and to reach our destination. if u can't buy my comments plz reply me!!

Vivian, I did receive an email some months back with a story of a butterfly (exactly the one you posted above). Then, I did not know it was you who originally wrote that piece. It came to me as an article written by an "Anonymous" writer. Glad to know that "Anonymous" writer is you. Just copy and paste a line from the above piece by Vivian on yahoo or google if anyone is interested in seeing the piece in the internet. Very upadesatmak lekh.

The "everyday" virtues allow us to smile through our lives. There I can't help admiring people like Ashu for sharing their little stories -- never mind the occasional spats - while the big story is that Nepal is being ransacked, razed, and raped - left, right, and center. There is this great book "facing the extreme" (Todorov), a profound meditation about life in Concentration Camps. Through various stories, and commentaries, one single question emerges: What makes some people take their sufferings with grace and dignity. Hey, the book also says that women, more than men, coped with the extreme situation better. They were better at forging ties, sharing their pains, and ready to help one other. Of course, a must-read for readers who have meditated along those lines. Vivan, great thoughts. sitara, yes, the beatles line says it all, "Life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans!"

How true that incidents in our life usually happens when we are looking the other way. Sometimes we do not even realize when an opportunity knocks the door on us. We fantasize about that gorgeous Heroine in the movie while that pretty next door neighbour has a crush on us. P.S. I too have read/heard this story about the Butterfly years ago. Congrats Vivan.

Hi biruwa i didn't read about the butterfly story before and to be honest i was inspired by the "water and fish" story written by amy lee. and yes i won the best article at the inter school competition where i represented from galaxy and it was 4 years ago. after winning that title my article was published in kathmandu post. so biruwa, i want people to know me by my own creation, dedication and hard work not as copycat!!!!!!!
