When our country is undergoing one of the major crisis
in the entire history I feel that it is important that we all nepalese
show some devotion to the nation, which once
we used to be proud of.Most of the people
who log in this site seem to be the nepalese
stationed in USA.And i plead all of you to help
nepal in this moment of crisis.The help need not be big
but it should reflect the devotion towards our
nation which is more important.
I happened to read an article
published in a nepalese magazine which
was trying to discuss about the nepalese
stationed abroad.It said that the people living abroad
are totally reluctant towards nepal.The writer said that
"The nepalese who are in the developed foreign countries,
when sometimes have the gathering ,the discussion is
centralised on Nepal.They think that Nepal is already
devestated and demolished country.They think that
something must be done .But after the discussion ends
they just hold their glass of expensive wine and eat
and sleep .They actually do nothing for nepal,they only talk
big things but do nothing."It was said that nepalese staying
outside nepal dont love their country and dont show any responsibility.
After reading that article i was really shocked.Who the hell
was that writer to adjudge the feelings of nepalese outside
nepal.But again if we think rationally,then directly we are
doing nothing that would appear good for nepal.Ofcourse there is big
role we are playing if we consider in a longterm thinking.But
what the people talk about is, direct results.
So the step taken by the nepalese students in japan
was a step of its own kind. The nepalese stationed in japan
tried to do their best by providing some economic
help and showed lots of devotion.The amount was ridiculously
low(A mere 110000NRS)but what was more important
was the devotion showed.
And I want to ask a question?Isn't it good if the
money we might spend on some useless stuff help a nepalese
get some food that would make him survive?The amount has not
to be high,as a matter of fact it need not be money,
but we can do our best can't we.Government will
do its part but we also must do our part(if we care to do so).
Only then we
can show the people that we just don't talk about nepal
rather we also come together and bring some action.
Think about it guys.
