National Naxal outfits find common cause Patna, Sept 27. (UNI): In a significant development, two major naxal outfits PW and MCC have come on a single platform to intensify their movement against the 'enemy' class. This fresh move had been attributed to Nepalese Maoist Leader Babu Ram Bhattarai, who was successful in bringing the two major ultra Left outfits together. Both organisations had stepped up their activities and come on a single platform by sinking their all ideological differences, owing to Bhattarai's intervention. The Nepalese Maoist leader 'sneaked' into Bihar nearly one week ago and had tried to bring the Maoist Communist Centre and People's War together since then. Official sources said here today that leaders of both groups, enjoying different stature, held secret meetings in Jehanabad and Arwal districts and deliberated on the joint strategy in response to the Nepalese Maoist leader's initiative. In a joint statement issued here during the day, PW and MCC leaders reposed their full faith in Bhattarai. MCC Magadh Divisional Committee Spokesman Mukesh and his PW counterpart Ashutosh in the statement alleged that the Ranvir Sena had entered into an agreement with the Police and threatened to revenge the killing of two ultras at Majidpur village under Kinjer Police Station of Jehanabad district on September 23. Extremists had a strong presence in the districts of Jehanabad, Arwal, Gaya, Aurangabad, Kaimur and Bhojpur. The fresh areas coming under the influence of extremism included such districts, which were close to Nepal like East Champaran, West Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhubani and Sheohar.
