Hello everyone,
I am seeking the email address of Sapana Malla, Anuradha Koirala and Arjoo Deuba.
As a women's rights advocate for South Asian women in USA, I feel that I desperately need to keep in touch with the Nepali key players.
I also am exploring the option of working in Nepal for a few years ,therfore, i would really appreciate if any of you living in Nepal could hook me up with an email ad or at least a work ph. num. , of all or any of the names mentioned above..........

if you can post this message right here on sajha, you can not be a dumbo not to get their phone numbers from the web. Try to search for it on the web before someone breast feeds you.

Go to " mahilaweb". It is a great resource for contacting NGO, INGO and other projects which have women oriented work going on.

Thanks for the suggestions, however, I did try (several times) sending emails using those website email addresses , it did not work. What happened is, one of the emails either fail to be delivered, or there is no response. For one, I got a reply from a lady who basically told me that the website has all the info I need on donating, and she gave me the bank account details!? I guess she misunderstood what I was asking for...
The numbers dont work either, everytime I call the phone is busy!
What was I thinking asking for thier phone number on this forum? I had heard its the most active forum for young professional Nepalis? Maybe I got the wrong forum, as this should not have come to a surprise. Beleive me when I say this is my last resort, before I start calling Kathmandu people I know who in turn can call people they know etc etc.
However thank you for all your help.

You are correct in atleast that Nepali gov. NGOs don't respond.
I have tried using the posted e-mail address of Nepali embassy in US. Got no reply. Has been 10 months and still waiting ;)

I think it is perfectly okay for you to be using this forum to seek the info you are after. I tried that myself once, rather twice.
