he most important festival of all Hindu Nepalis, Dashain, falls around 'Aswin-Kartik' (around october). Even 'astik' people are filled with joy as this festival approaches. Who came deny the pull of the 'tika' and 'jamara'. Or 'Masu', 'Bhat' for that matter! :)
The greatest festival
Brings back the rememberance.
Bright clothes everywhere
the ubiquitous kites
Fills us with exuberance.
Uniting people, long lost
Its main significance.
Dashain is celebrated for the victory of Ram over Ravan, Kali over Mahisasur, Good over evil. Wish the Sajhites "A very happy Dashain". Milera Bashnu la! ;) Sasurali ma payo bhandai ma dherai na Ghichnu :)
