Folks, What numbers would you like to dance to or wanna see your friends dance to in the upcoming Dashain Party in Boston? Any suggestions? The songs (or just plain music) can be Nepali, English or any other kind as long as it is not offensive. Rgds, Bik Yonjan GBNC.

Thank you Gurl_Interrupted. Does anyone know who sings the new remix of "Heaven" that's on radio quite frequently these days? It's a girl/woman. Bik.

How about this song by Truth Hurts--Addicted? The one with lata mangeskar's voice inbetween--sounds kinda like an indian remix---that would be a good dance selection or even just to listen for that matter, creates a festive mood. Just a suggestion. Am not a bostanian, won't be at the party.

Thank you guys and gals. I was able to find "Heaven" and yes it is apparently from DJ Sammy. I liked a few of his other mixes as well. I have that Hindi and Lata mix and "I need a girl" from P DD. What about Nepali songs though? Any recommendations besides "Wari Jamuna"? Bik.

'tis sad that nobody recommended a Nepali song. Music from 3rd world country? :( Don't choose a nepali song just because 'tis Nepali. IF u ppl don't like Nepali song, no need to play it!

Duh! Just coz u didn't suggest a nepali song doesn't mean that we r trying to look down on it. Me was thinking for a good song, before suggesting one. That's all. What can I do? if all the other language songs come randomly at first instinct. Besides I was thinking for a nepali song with a groovy tune, that'll be a nice one to siwng to. Well if that's what u r concerned about, why didn't u sugeest one on ur own? Newayz never mind. Hm... nepali tune, lot of them sound melancholic. You can play, "simsime panima?" or "chekyo-chekyo deurali dada by Nepathya? Can't think of any other right now. Wari Jamuna is the best tune.
